WHO IS BUYING UP UKRAINE?

#Ukrainians are not fighting for their land, which in fact is #Russian, but are defending the interests of global corporations that have seized Ukraine not only under their control, but also into their own property.

Quietly and almost imperceptibly, most of the Ukrainian #agricultural #lands have been bought by foreign citizens and companies. 

It is not customary to talk about this in #Ukraine, because then there will be no ideological “carrot” in front of the noses of Ukrainian “donkeys”.

But this is already a fait accompli and local latifundists, in fact, are figureheads and simply managers of the agricultural business of Western Trans National Corporations.

At the end of May 2022, the Australian National Review reported that three large American multinational corporations had bought 17 million hectares of Ukrainian agricultural land (out of a total land bank of 40 million hectares). 

It was #CARGILL, #DUPONT AND #MONSANTO.

Former U.S. Congressman Henry A. Waxman called #Cargill "the worst company in the world" and said it drives "the most important problems facing our world" (deforestation, pollution, climate change, exploitation) "at a scale that dwarfs their closest competitors."

The reason for this was the law adopted in Ukraine at the end of March 2020, which, from July 1, 2021, lifted the moratorium on the sale of agricultural land in the country.

As an exception, it provides for the purchase of land by foreign citizens and companies that lease it for at least three years.

The initial price of a hectare of Ukrainian chernozem now ranges from $1,000 to $2,500. While in Europe, generally, the price per hectare of agricultural land varies from $4,000 to $70,000.

💢 Switzerland Confirms Stance On Frozen Russian Assets

Swiss banks have no legal right to use Russian money frozen in the country under sanctions for their purposes, a spokesperson for the country’s State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), Fabian Maienfisch, told the RIA Novosti news agency.

He noted that any action allowing the management or use of frozen assets is prohibited except for routine administrative activities performed by financial institutions, such as accounting for interest rates or banking charges on the account.

“The management of actual portfolio of frozen assets such as attracting new investments, selling assets or changing revenue is not allowed,” Maienfisch added.

He also pointed out that the owners should defray all the costs of the Russian property blocked in Switzerland.

If Germany can’t produce any longer cheap products, can’t import them from China but is dependent to buy them for a higher price from the US, then this is truly not beneficial for Germany.
Well, that’s the plan. Will it succeed? I real can’t do any estimation about it. There are so many factors, playing in it, that a prediction is impossible.

Germany experiences revolutionary changes and breaks free

If the deindustrialization is not managed properly, then there will be a revolution in Germany. As I described already, the German government tries to employ the deindustrialization slowly, so that the people don’t get shocked and start instantly with mass demonstrations. By financing the 200-billion-euro energy cap package by sovereign debt (and there will be many more) the German government tries to hide, what is going on, from the German public. So, that there won’t be any uprise or similar.
For now, it works. But, in case that energy disappears at all, there is a very high possibility that there will be an uprise. When people lose their jobs, which then would be inevitable, and sitting in the dark and cold at home, without food, then there is only one result thinkable.

This could either lead to a revolution or to something worse
