MLM Ministry of Propaganda
Always unfortunate when these very same apparent “leftists” prove my point. It’s all about clout scoring for such folk, about always “being morally superior”, not about actually bringing about change. They couldn’t care less for such a prospect to begin with!…
Many also seem to forget that this was a key reason for bringing down many communist movements - exploiting internal divisions, not direct violence.

"Even in Stalin's time there was collective leadership"
An entertaining CIA briefing report on the Soviet Union after Stalin's death.
1) Analysts point out that Stalin was a collective leader, not a dictator, and his role as "one-man power" is greatly exaggerated. This is mainly due to "a lack of understanding in the West of the real nature and organization of the communist power structure".
2) The authors make the assumption that Khrushchev will be the new leader of the USSR. However, they note that Khrushchev clearly does not reach the level of Lenin and Stalin.
3) Based on the second point, it is concluded that "the situation is most favorable for the overthrow of the Communists".
