What components best help gameplay? I play marvel rivals at 90 to 100 fps. I understand fps isn't everything but I want to know what things to start to upgrade it. I only have a nice cooling fan that helps nicely.

What's the general outlook towards Linux compatibility on MSI laptops?
For those who use Linux distros as a daily driver, what has your experience been? Did you have any issues while installing it? After installation, did you run into any weird harware or driver related glitches or did everything work fine? How's the community support like? Also, what distros have you tried?

HDMI - Crosshair 16 HX AI D2XW
I just bought an MSI Crosshair 16 HX AI D2XW, and I think it's great, but I'm having trouble using it with my monitor (Samsung Odyssey G70B).
I'm currently using a High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet, which isn't enough. I'm planning to buy a new cable, but I'm hesitant because the MSI website (https://www.msi.com/Laptop/Crosshair-16-HX-AI-D2XWX/Specification) says 1x HDMI™ 2.1 (8K @ 60Hz / 4K @ 120Hz), while my screen is 4K 144Hz HDR VRR. Could someone tell me if buying an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable will be sufficient, or if I should buy a USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable?
Thanks in advance :)

How's this laptop? MSI Modern 15 H AI 15.6"
Anyone try this laptop from costco canada or know if it's good value?
MSI Modern 15 H AI 15.6-in Laptop, Intel Core Ultra 5 125H – 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Arc
It looks pretty good for $799.99 CAD. 32 GB RAM DDR5, decent processor, 1 TB SSD.
The only review on the costco website mentions problems with overheating, bad screen quality, and bad build quality, but I'm not sure if those are dealbreakers or not.

Frame Drops on the MSI Sword 15 A12UE
I have had this computer for roughly 3 years maybe a bit under but when I play Apex legends I see a bunch of frame drops on the least stressful things. (EX. Looting in a non populated area at the start of the game and just using the training dummies in the firing range.) When I first got the computer it was doing great but nowadays not so hot. I upgraded to 32gb of ram recently hoping that would help (It saw slight improvement) I am thinking it might be the thermal paste (I haven't found a video on how to change it on this particular computer so if you could send one for the model that'd be amazing.) If it has something to do with the specs I wouldn't know because I am not great with all that computer stuff it's like a puzzle I can't solve. If someone could tell me what might be the problem that'd be super helpful. If I need to upgrade something or if its just time to start getting a full on switch going for an upgrade please let me know. If you need more information I can try my hardest to give it to you in the comments. And thanks in advance.

How to determine cause of getting a system recovery screen on boot for no obvious reason?
Yesterday when I booted my laptop I got a system recovery, I didn't think that there is a reason for it so I just clicked to continue to Windows 10 and it worked. I restarted the laptop a few minutes later and this time everything was fine.
I did look through Event viewer logs, but not sure what to look for. I would prefer to get an idea what could have caused it, to decide if it can be ignored or I need to take action like reinstall Windows.
The only thing I can think of is that the laptop was unused for months and the battery had gone to 0%, however I have done this a few times before without experiencing anything out of ordinary when I booted it again. I know it's not good for battery longevity, but it should not affect OS and other things to my knowledge.

Fan weird Noise/ Vibration(Not Always) Issue After 2 year but only while gaming not when
MSI Bravo 15 c7ucxk Ryzen5 7535hs rtx 2050 after two year kind of issue while gaming(sekrio, witcher 3) half an hour fan make weird cuttring noise and vibrations(not alway) and since then i started to monitor the temperature but the temprature is fine considering the room temperature its not crossing 75 to 78°c(max) which was in summers but this noise started when the winter arrived and the highest temperature is now 73°c and if i thought its the overheating but when installed msi afterburner the fans came under control while and if i run it and then the fan speed sounds normal i don't know what happened but i did for a time before that if noise once started then its not tried custom fan curve on msi center if its related to fan speed but the noise didn't go.
Things i am considering to do
1.Bios update because I did not upgrade it since i bought it the two new versions already
2.Having thermal repasting by service center
3.Finding Help! If anyone has any knowledge to fix it!

MSI had hardware issue luckily in the costco warranty...
Had a MSI ge68hx (Raider) that I grabbed at Costco. Just recently had to sent it in due to the HDMI ports failing and not recognizing anything in them.
Long story short its being sent back unfixed due to lack of parts being available along with a return code. So I have to get a new laptop. Basically play Civ games on it and Diablo. Was looking at the MSI Vector A16. Outside of the color bars and some minor speaker changes, are they for the most part comparable or would anyone recommend looking at something else. If its store credit im probably looking good at $1400 plus what ever tax was.

MSI GS63 Stealth 8RE LED Issue
I have the listed laptop and the LEDs in the keyboard appear to be mostly dead. I've tested each key's LED in SteelSeries Engine 3, and it's looking like most of the keys have one or all dead LEDs. I'm hoping there's a way to fix it without a complete teardown and keyboard replacement, but I'm doubtful
