MSI HX 16 AI Battery Concern
Hello!
so recently with this laptop, the battery has been decreasing around 1% every 2-4 days and this has been a consistent issue. When I first had this issue I simply turned off fast startup in control panel and it seemed to temporarily fix the issue. The battery went from 91% and charged back up to 100%. However, this issue seems to be occuring again and with fast startup turned off, im unsure what could be causing this issue. When turning off the laptop and leaving it overnight, the battery still does not charge up. It was sitting at 94% for a while and dropped to 93% recently. I have checked task manager and im certain that there is no application that could be draining the battery execeptionally fast. Battery related issues is not my forte so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is it really that bad for a budget gaming laptop
Hello im looking to buy my first gaming laptop as i want to leave my ps4 and want to play hogwarts legacy (which i got free) and cod warzone but rn the prices are bad and probably will be even worse with the RAM prices increasing. I know the thin 15 isnt a powerhouse but could it last like 2-3 years playing these games and using it for coding and school?
What performance can i expect from it since its the cheapest in my country for about 700 usd with a ryzen 5 and a 4050

Miserable Customer Service
I bought an MSI Katana a little over a year ago and it was working fine until one day it no longer powered on. I tried calling their customer service and it feels like pulling teeth trying to get any useful help. It's even worse that they don't respond to emails, and never call back despite promising to do so within 48 hours.
The first issue was that the serial number that came with the laptop was faded and almost unreadable, (despite every other sticker being perfectly fine somehow) and they wouldn't offer any troubleshooting without it. It took a week and 5 different people until someone was able to actual help by matching the battery serial number to the laptop which could have been solved much earlier.
When I finally talked to technical support their only suggestion was to try power cycling it and once that didn't work, told me to bring it to a local repair shop since I was 2 months out of warranty and couldn't send it in for an RMA repair through them.
Finally after sending it in to be repaired which is what I should have done from the get go instead of dealing with MSI, I get told that I probably will need a new motherboard. For some reason though, MSI doesn't sell this particular motherboard on their website. When I reach out again to purchase a replacement, they said that they have replacement ones in stock, but it can only be done through an out of warranty repair. I was told they need to diagnose it and do an in house repair even though it contradicts what they told me earlier.
Anyways I mainly just wanted to rant about my experience and don't really expect anything to come out of it. Probably won't be buying any laptops from them again in the near future.

Almost fried my laptop because of the stupid windows sleep.
Just like what the noscript said, I found my laptop burningly hot in my bag.
(Laptop is on Eco-Silent with Energy Saver)
I left it in my bag for 2 hours assuming that it would stay asleep after closing its lid just like any other day but lo and behold almost got a heart attack when I found it hot as f*ck and wouldn't turn on no matter how much i pressed the power button. After doing a power reset and plugging its charger, it finally turned on, but it repeatedly turned on and off just at the msi logo.
After a few minutes(It finally cooled down) it properly booted. Battery is fully drained but no other issues so far, So yeah i got traumatized and would never leave my laptop (which is only 1 month old by the way) asleep. I made its closing lid to directly hibernate when in battery power. Never trust sleep mode in laptop...
Edit: found 2 possible culprits that woke my laptop while inside the bag...
1.) Saved network (it probably automatically connected)
2.) usb devices plugged in ( mouse dongle in my case)

I'll say this once i'll say this twice i'll say it how many times i need
Invest in a laptop stand, it will save you a hell of a lot of grief.
You don't need a fancy one, you pick one up for max £20-30 but it will do wonders for airflow

Possible to upgrade built in speakers? - Thin GF63 12UCX
Wondering if anyone knows of any way to possibly upgrade the built in speakers. The stock ones work fine but wish they were louder.

MSI Cyborg 15 A12V – High temps while gaming, is this normal?
I’m using an MSI Cyborg 15 A12V with i5-12450H + RTX 4050.
While gaming, my CPU hits around 95°C and GPU goes up to ~90°C.
Performance is okay, but I’m worried about long-term damage and thermal throttling.
Is this normal for this model?
Should I be concerned?
Any tips (cooling pad, undervolt, repaste, settings) that worked for you?
