Good morning all Patriot Brothers & Sisters on the MajFreddy’s Channel:
As I pray everyone had a peaceful night’s rest and are waking up refreshed today with Hope, Optimism & more importantly, LOVE. I know many may find it difficult to adjust your thinking or should I say, focus on what God has blessed you with and what is His perfect will in your life. I always try to let things simmer a bit and remember it’s NOT about me or what my expectations are that matter…it’s ONLY about Him and His Love for us and any thoughts I have in contradiction to that is being selfish.
I spent close to 25 years of my life trying to do what I thought was best and since I oversaw my life, didn’t feel it necessary to get permission or consult our Heavenly Father because I thought I knew what was best. Well, that turned into a disaster. Bottom Line: I know what it feels like to be a Peter, who liked to take charge and set his own agenda. Turns out Simon Peter found himself over his head on multiple occasions.
In reading Matthew 16:21-25, we see Jesus was preparing His Disciples telling them that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders, chief priest & scribes, and be killed, then be resurrected on the 3rd day. Notice then how Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!”. But Jesus turned, and said to Peter, “Get thee behind me, Satan: you are an offence unto me: You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely man.”
Well, what Peter said sounds a lot like something I would have said a couple of decades ago, or even what I was thinking last night & these past few days since the midterms. So, here’s the deal: What I’m trying to share with those reading this is in my experience tells me that when I think things should go my way (man’s way) it turns out I usually tripped over myself (I was my own stumbling block).
During this Spiritual War we find ourselves in, I’m a firm believer we really must trust God as He knows how this awakening plays out. I’m sure many were hoping the DJT-POTUS#45’s announcement should have gone a different direction …but, what do we really know? More importantly, what does President Trump know & what is God’s will in this man’s life? All I am 100% sure of is I’m not in control. And last I recall, my Lord & Savior is NOT the MAGA king, but KING JESUS who sits on the throne and prepares a place for all those given to Him by the Heavenly Father. It’s NOT my will, LORD, but your will that directs my path.
I’m convinced that since 2016, President Trump has taken all the spears and arrows + he’s really been up front and transparent in this fight to save America from not only those nasties ole swamp rat greedy politicians in DC, but worldwide corruption, crimes against humanity and election overhaul. He is the only one I’m confident in to get us out of this debt slavery system and he truly loves America and wants to place it 1st. I ask most people I see, to please name another President in your lifetime that has done everything he promised during his campaign in his 1st term in office.
Again, so many things are happening that we must learn to strengthen our faith and trust God that He is working on our behalf to do what is best for our future. Yesterday’s message I mentioned how it’s so important it is to remember it’s not what happens to us, but how we react to it.
Lastly, there are times when we face difficult setbacks and the unknown in times of despair. I’m reminded this morning to refer to King David’s words and “take refuge in the shadow of [God’s] wings” (Psalm 57). It’s okay to “cry out to God” with our troubles, to speak to Him of our current ordeal and the fears we have when “in the midst of lions”
Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me,
for in thee my soul takes refuge;
in the shadow of thy wings I will take refuge,
till the storms of destruction pass by.

We will have a chat tonight as I’ve been taking care of other things…please keep our Patriot Mimi in your prayers as her family grieves the loss of her brother-in-law, and her brother’s loss of his shop to a fire. We love all of you and I personally want to thank you for being such a blessing in our lives. This channel is for you wonderful folks, and again I ask for your apologies for me not conducting a live chat in these past few days. Also, please take into considerations of others when posting on the channel. Love is contagious but negativity can cause an infection. My Nanny who passed in 1981 raised me with sayings like “if you don’t have something kind to say, it’s better to keep it to yourself.” Don’t get me wrong it’s okay to vent but if you get really frustrated with something or someone, please just take a deep breath and think through how much control you have over the situation (which is usually none) then ask yourself are my words going to help inspire or hurt others.
Carla just reminded me to share the following: The people we surround ourselves with either raise or lower our standards. The either help us to become the-best-version-of-ourselves or encourage us to become lesser versions of ourselves. We become like our friends. No man or woman becomes great on their own, but the people around them are the ones who help make them great. We all truly need people in our lives who will raise our standards, remind of our essential purpose, and challenge us to become the-best-version-of-ourselves.
