This happened a couple years ago. After I started waking up to everything, one night I just could not sleep at all. And I'm a mom to 3 boys so it was a shock to me to not sleep. I just layed there and started talking to God. I was asking him if everything I was learning was true and if it was, to somehow show me proof. Well that he did! The next day was a normal day until the evening. I went outside with my older 2 boys. I was holding my middle son and we were looking at the clouds. Both boys pointed out that the really big one looked like an angel. I saw it perfectly. Looked like an angel flying through the sky. I could see the head, wings, and like it was wearing a robe. The size of it was massive. Then after looking at it for a while and talking about it with my boys we walked further into the yard and I turned around and looked above the house and we seen another massive cloud that looked like a Serpent/Dragon who had his mouth open and looked mad. Like the Serpent lost the fight with the Angel. That night I was laying in bed and I heard a voice whisper to me "It is done". I never connected it until last night. Last night I was visiting with my mom and we were discussing the 1000 years of peace, she grabbed her Bible and I started reading Revelations chapter 20. I started crying in disbelief and amazement that God chose me to see that and to hear those words.

"And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3. And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled...." Revelation 20:1-3 KJV

Weird thing…a month ago, I decided to read the Screwtape Letters. I’d heard about this book but never read it. (C.S. Lewis, for those that don’t know this book from the 70’s) I have no idea why it suddenly appeared on my radar. I’ll call it a God-wink. The chapters on prayer had me stopping and starting multiple times, because what it says is that it’s important to keep Christians from saying prayers aloud. That when we pray in our heads, we allow for distractions, but when on our knees,speaking aloud, Satan can’t combat the prayer. I’d never thought about that. I know it’s a work of fiction, but it’s really made me think. When I was a child, I knelt by my bed. As an adult, I got ‘sophisticated’ and thought I could just talk to God in my head. After reading parts of this book, I got back on my knees ( not everyday. I’m being honest, here) and can’t even begin to explain the difference in my prayers. I have to be more honest. I can’t pretend like I can when it’s a silent, one-way conversation. I’m a Life-long Christian still learning and working on my relationship with God.
