Dear Brother & Sisters in Christ,
As we are called as Christians to follow this road less traveled, Jesus teaches us to pour ourselves out for others. However, some are slow to embrace this aspect of the Christian life. With that being said, I pray we are trying to know God’s will and asking Him to literally lead us by the Holy Spirit to be the “Hands & Feet of Jesus”. I’m a prime example to sometimes misapply the freeness of God’s grace to us in Christ in such a way that it can overshadow the appropriate response to His grace.

Scripture is saturated with God’s command to his people to help others, care for the poor, imitate his generosity, and to take a posture of self-sacrifice. My Spiritual journey has been unique the past two decades, as I’ve continued to express the application of God’s Word in my personal experiences, with hope that it will resonate with folks to look at the similarities and not the differences. I often have been the worst offender of my own guidance…I have failed many times in my ability to communicate and sometimes mixed my passion or even military Tactics, Techniques & Procedures (TTPs) that often can be misconstrued in a negative way. In that I apologize.

I do get in the way of myself & even though we have Spiritual gifts & unique talents / abilities, it’s never been my intent to back or push anyone into a corner asking them to taste what’s in the spoon, or as some may say “drink the cool aid”. I do NOT like anything having to do with religion and am trying to break out of that old way of thinking. When I open a chat, never knowing where it will lead & I should listen more, for that too, I apologize. Also, I’ve noticed that the recording light blinking can sometimes be a hindrance as people are of not comfortable in asking or speaking maybe with worry about of saying the wrong thing or changing the topic. When the recorder stops that’s when the best work of the Holy Spirit is working very late at night and early into the morning hours.

I want to be there for all of you and truly desire to be a blessing to help encourage and lift others…just sometimes may need a break from all the TG nonsense and continue to work on my Spiritual walk with The Lord. We will be back to the “Camp Fire” soon, just have to prioritize issues with family/personal affairs that have been neglected recently and will require my attention for the next few days.

Please know my sincere love for you all and trying to do God’s will as He receives ALL THE GLORY in His Ministry that I’ve been called…the ONLY rewards will come from Him in eternity. Thank you in advance for allowing me to share what God has laid on my heart this morning and I pray you have a truly blessed weekend. Oh, don’t forget its R.E.D. Do Something Nice for One of Our Senior Citizens.Laura Failner is a SkyWest flight attendant. On July 7th, she witnessed this moment of kindness.
"I love looking for the good in the world! As I flew up to Washington today, I had this cute little 94-year-old lady get on my plane. She was frail and had a hard time getting back to her seat. There was a bit of confusion about where she was supposed to be seated. In first-class, this wonderful gentleman saw her plight and flagged me down. He said, "can you please get her and put her in my seat, and I will take hers." He walked back with me to get her and take her to first class.
She was so touched. The woman gave him a big hug and said, "Never in my 94 years has someone done that for me. Thank you, young man." She had tears of gratitude. It was amazing how his thoughtful act changed the attitude of everyone on the flight. May we all look for the little things we can do to help others around us and show kindness. In this crazy world, let's all try to be the good."
