All flights leaving Atlanta got canceled last night. DC got shut down. Heard there were issues in New Orleans as well. CNBC has an article (Of all places to get info 🙄 - sorry 🤷‍♀️😁) about thousands of flights being delayed, I think most of the airports along the East coast (would post the link, but don't think that's allowed here 🤔).
And trust me, I know...I was the "family member" who got caught up in the chaos last night in Atlanta and it was an absolute mess!! Some of the people I talked with were not able to schedule a flight out until Tuesday and the flights they WERE able to get in place of their canceled flights, shortly afterwards were ALSO canceled.
Hotels everywhere, were completely sold out as well..and even though you made a reservation, while being stuck on your plane for 2-4 hrs., while learning that your connecting flight has been canceled....when you got to your hotel to check in - you were told that your hotel reservation has, guess what - been canceled! 🤯😑
So yeah, trust me I know...😏
I hope your family (and everyone else's affected by this) gets home safely 🙏, just trying to be positive and find a bright side to all of this while I'm still currently stranded. 😏 God is still good and, for me, a temporary inconvenience is WELL worth it if there's white hat activity going on to take down this evil cabal and its members once and for all! 🇺🇲
