NEW: An Amtrak train derailment this morning on the tracks between Union Station and Alexandria, Virginia.

DC Fire and EMS crews are on the scene. The derailment happened around 9am in a tunnel. The D.C. Fire and EMS reports two cars derailed but are upright inside the tunnel just before Union Station. One Amtrak employee has been taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Hebrews 11 is known as the Faith chapter. But the word diligently stands out to me as well. We expect God to reward us but do we seek Him with (painstaking) effort? I fall short in so many ways. But God Almighty is always there to show me where and what I need to work on. He is so faithful.....

In Numbers 13 and 14 Joshua and Caleb saw the giants and walled cities, not as obstacles, but rather as opportunities for victory.

They "saw" the promises of God before they were fulfilled.

The others did not and were killed off in the desert because of unbelief.

As we see in Hebrews 11, it is impossible to please God without faith.
