When our hearts are focused on what the Lord says to us, and on what He is doing in the earth, we should have no anxiety, fear or reason to panic.

I get we’re watching this movie. What is up is down what is right is wrong who is one is another who does not exist, appears, who is dead is alive, who is alive is not who they say they are. Whoever claims they are someone, is slandered and mocked and kept poor and helpless. Who is hailed is no one at all. 3 of this one, 4 of that one. All narrated by man’s knowledge of control and power. And then, there is Jesus and the Bible. They had to go there. The one Book that has kept us together in a moral fabric with justice and mercy and humility. And a Savior from all the corruption and madness and deception. And love, beyond what flesh can deliver. And a chance. For a relationship with the One who created us in our entirety, and loves us anyway. The relationship with the Word. My precious breath. They had to go there, because it is their only fear. Only threat.
Jesus is who He says He is. He did what He said He did. He forms our spirituality with His discipline. I let Him. And when you get That, none of this movie even matters. It never did. Nothing of what is going on trumps the Christ they mean to kill. Again. And again. It never worked. It never will. And This. Is the real reason a movie is being made. A lot if noise here, so we don’t see what they’re trying to destroy, There. Nothing of this world belongs to the righteous Kingdom.

If it has served its purpose will protect us as it guides us to our last inhalation here, as we exhale in the full presence of Almighty God.
Just Say Jesus.
He understands Americans.
