“Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken”. Luke 21:26 Jesus more fully describes the reaction of the people during the horrors of the tribulation. The sun, moon, and stars will dim, rage, and turn dark. The seas will turn to blood and everything in it will die. The nations will be distressed and confused. The people will faint with fear. They will crawl into caves, begging the stones to cover them, to hide them from the Son of Man. But there will be no escape. It is time for God to judge the world for seeking authority in themselves, their own creations, and demons, instead of submitting to their Creator. At this time, the "powers of the heavens will be shaken." Satan, the "god of this world" (2 Corinthians 4:4) will find his power slipping. He will hold tight to the Antichrist but fall powerless when Jesus returns "in a cloud with power and great glory" (Luke 21:27). Jesus will destroy both the physical and economical Babylon (Revelation 17—18), annihilate the Antichrist and his armies (Revelation 19:11–21), imprison Satan (Revelation 20:1–3), and take His rightful throne for a thousand years (Revelation 20:4–6). The disciples still think Jesus is going to expel the Romans and restore Israel to independence. They didn’t realize that within days Jesus will hang on the cross. Even after His resurrection, they anticipate His kingdom (Acts 1:6). Jesus is telling them His followers must first face a lot of hardship, persecution, and horror. But their redemption will come (Luke 21:28). “This is NOT the RV - Redemption Folks! This records the last section of Jesus' prophecy about the challenges the Jews & His followers will face. After war, natural disasters, persecution, the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem, and the times of the Gentiles, the Son of Man will appear and judge the world. It is at this moment that Jesus-followers can be confident that Jesus' time has come. In anticipation, Jesus admonishes His followers to stay sober and alert, to make the most of the time before He returns (Luke 21:29–36). This warning is also in Matthew 24:29–31 and Mark 13:24–27 but it originates in Daniel 7:13–14.

Be real careful who you follow please don’t think for one second that the Truth in the Holy Scriptures can be debated with make you feel good stuff. The Speaker of the House has made it very clear there will be a shaking in Heavens that NO ONE can avoid. Lastly… this is the prophecy that most do NOT want to see or hear: 2 Peter 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” MajFreddy

Forwarded from teine
I see an image of God crushing a pocket watch with His heal. It’s because the seconds hand is spinning too fast. I hear “STOP THE CLOCK”.

Then I watched a long different hand that went to the edge of the clock rim start at the 2 and GO BACKWARDS taking a full 24 hours to complete its revolution. I watched wondering if the hand would pass the 2 and stop at the seemingly correct place (the 12) or… nope, it stopped at the 2 and I felt a very uncomfortable magnetic kind of pull and had to get my head around the information that there was a NEW NORTH with time. I heard “Time can bend. It is I who goes round and round.” - teine (19 October 2025)

I love how Rob keeps the cookies on the bottom shelf where all the little kids can get to them. If there are too many hands in the cookie jar, all the cookies get crumbled then the chocolate chips just fall to the bottom. NO MORE COOKIE MONSTERs.

LUKE 12:51-59 Jesus speaking about Division in the HOME!
Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division.

For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three.

Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”

Then He also said to the multitudes, "Whenever you see a cloud rising out of the west, immediately you say, 'A shower is coming'; and so it is.

And when you see the south wind blow, you say, 'There will be hot weather'; and there is.

Hypocrites! You can discern the face of the sky and of the earth, but how is it you do not discern this time?

"Yes, and why, even of yourselves, do you not judge what is right?

When you go with your adversary to the magistrate, make every effort along the way to settle with him, lest he drag you to the judge, the judge deliver you to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.

I tell you, you shall not depart from there till you have paid the very last mite (cent/penny)“

During this lesson, Jesus has spoken about the futility of valuing the things of the earth. He encourages His followers to be faithful, complete their assigned tasks, and wait for Him. Peter, probably speaking for all the disciples, has reminded Jesus that He promised them an honor that the crowd of people following them will not attain to. Jesus agrees, but He knows the disciples don't really understand what is at stake. Yes, the kingdom of God will arrive, but not before Jesus is crucified and the flames of judgment purify the earth

His followers will face their own sacrifice. The point of judgment is to determine the value of things and respond accordingly. In the case of the kingdom of God, this means separating the people in the kingdom from those who are not and will not be in the kingdom. Some will accept forgiveness from sins and reconciliation with God through the sacrifice of Jesus and some won't. Those two camps will be divided.

Jesus goes on to make things more personal. Even families will be divided. Some of His disciples may see their own fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters reject Christ. Yes, they will judge Israel on twelve thrones (Matthew 19:28), but not everyone they love on earth will be in the Israel that inherits God's promises in the millennial kingdom (Luke 12:52–53

This is why they need to be diligent in their work while Christ is away. Everyone will die physically, whether good or evil, and there comes a point when it is fruitless to try to save your own life (Luke 12:4–6). It is repentance that leads to salvation, not good works. But God is patient; every delay of Jesus' return is another chance for people to come to Him for forgiveness (Luke 13:1–9; 2 Peter 3:1–13). That is why Jesus-followers also need to be patient, like God, "not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance" (2 Peter 3:9)

Luke 12:49–53 expresses Jesus' frustration that the disciples still miss His point. They need to value and anticipate the kingdom of God, not earthly respect, riches, survival, or honor (Luke 12:1–48). To follow Jesus, they will even need to be willing to sacrifice family relationships. Next, Jesus tells the crowd they should notice that change is coming; they need to repent to each other and to God to be ready (Luke 12:54—13:9). Matthew 10:34–37 records a similar warning.

Chapter 12 Summary: Jesus teaches the disciples about proper priorities. This includes recognizing that God knows all things, even secrets. Believers should honor God more than they fear death, or than they worry about things like food and clothes. Christians are to remain ready for Christ's return, even as faith separates those who believe from those who do not. These ideas revolve around the central theme of verse 34: that a person's heart reflects what they value most.

Second Corinthians 6:14—7:1 begins with Paul's command to the Corinthians not to be ''unequally yoked'' with unbelievers. Light and darkness cannot be in fellowship. Christ and Satan cannot work together. Christians are God's temples on earth since His Spirit lives in them. That's why they must separate themselves from any kind of formal, binding relationship with unbelievers. Paul references several Old Testament Scriptures to show that believers in Jesus must separate themselves from being ''yoked'' to unbelievers since God is their Father and lives among them. 2 Cor 6:14 .... DON't be unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" Paul is calling Christians to be separate from the world around them. More specifically, he is commanding the Corinthians to separate themselves from any connection with the worship of idols.

He showed in the previous verse a Christian connected to idol worship is equivalent to Jewish person under the Old Covenant worshiping an idol in the temple. This is because Christians themselves have become God's temples on earth, occupied by His Holy Spirit. Paul is quoting from a collection of Old Testament passages to make this case. This verse is put together from Isaiah 52:11 and Ezekiel 20:41. God freed the Israelites from slavery to other nations and told them to separate from the peoples around them and to maintain their purity by not even touching forbidden things. Then the Lord would welcome them.

God calls Christians to live in freedom from sin and the law, and to lead holy lives. The difference is that God has already welcomed believers in Christ. We are His people with a permanent place with Christ in eternity. Paul described in his letter to Titus what God has done for us in Christ and how we should live in response: "Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works" (Titus 2:13–14).
