So they’ve voted for a Bill, after allowing the public just 24 hours to make submissions on.

A bill that requires Australians to prove they are 16 or over to log on to social media, but they don’t know how this will be done - and they’ve given that power to the eSafety Commissioner to decide for herself.

And they’ve voted for a Bill based upon amendments which will be made in the Senate, which the public hasn’t seen the detail of.

And they’ve rushed this through on a Bill that doesn’t take effect until 2026.

On first principles - this is a complete abandonment of the Parliamentary standards.
