Once in a while I'll see a crazy comment on here and instinctively think "wow I can't believe they let that on here". Big Tech has conditioned us to expect censorship everywhere so that we forget what free speech looks like.

In Brazil, a conservative influencer was banned. He filed a lawsuit against Twitter for breach of contractual agreement, as he did not break any social network rules. Twitter did not claim that there was a violation of its rules, but failed to prove it. The judge ruled that Twitter would reestablish his profile and also ordered Twitter to pay damages if R $ 7,000.00 (approximately US $ 1,308.00). The influencer will still think about whether to use the compensation amount for a higher amount. Twitter did not take a position on whether to appeal the decision.
