— 🇮🇷 A bomb explodes at Friday prayer led by President Ali Khamenei in Tehran, 1985
Four years earlier, Khamenei had lost use of his entire right arm after a previous attempted assassination; this time, he was luckily not injured.
Despite the chaos, the Iranian President continues his speech, and the brave Iranian people remain in place, shouting slogans against the perpetrators instead of running for safety.
The terrorist was a suicide bomber who was part of the Marxist-Islamist cult known as the MEK (PMO), the People's Mujahideen Organization.
The MEK waged an armed insurgency against the Iranian revolutionary government in its early years, killing over 17.000 Iranians since its inception.
In the year 1981 alone, during the peak of their power, they assassinated Iranian President Ali Rajaei, Prime Minister Mohammad Javad Bahonar, Chief Justice Mohammad Beheshti, four Cabinet Ministers, and 27 members of Parliament.
During operation Mersad in 1988, more than 7000 MEK fighters based in Iraq tried to invade the Iranian province of Kurdistan, without success. Thousands of them were annihilated during the operation, under the command of the legendary General Sayyad Shirazi. Since then, the group's power has swiftly declined.
Following the operation, approximately 2500 MEK terrorists remained in Iranian prisons. Those who refused to repent for their deeds were purged and executed after a series of trials.
Since then, the group has gone into exile in France and Albania, now mostly consisting of old 'veterans' from the 80's, who keep themselves busy by posting slogans from their laptops.
Although the group's power is not what it used to be, it still retains a large network of spies and terror cells in Iran, often used by Mossad to conduct terrorist operations and assassinations, and it remains a threat to be aware of.

— So, days after the Kurdish terrorists have allegedly been re-located to Western Iraq as per the ultimatum requirements, we see a terrorist plot prevented that originates in Iraq
I wonder if Iran is satisfied with the current state of affairs, considering that the relocation of those groups was clearly not enough to prevent actual attacks over the border, which is what Iran's concern has been all along.
