These countries include, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt.

Israel considers this a red line and it is an impassable problem, as the Saudis are keen on having their own nuclear program.

This version of the drone uses a mini jet engine instead of a propellor, to achieve higher speeds. This makes it harder for the Shahed to be intercepted and shot down.

Due to having a jet engine, this new variant has slightly less range and payload than its propellor-powered predecessor.

Some have called it a 'stealth' version of the Shahed-136, due to it no longer having the iconic buzzing sound which made it easy to identify.
