— 🇵🇸/🇵🇸/🇮🇷 The military wing of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, have released a statement honoring Iran:

'With great pride and honor, the Martyr Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades mourns to our Islamic nation the martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the senior commanders of the armed forces who were martyred as a result of the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic:

– Martyr Commander Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief-of-Staff of the Armed Forces

– Martyr Commander Major General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC

– Martyr Commander Major General Gholam-Ali Rashid, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya HQ

And their brothers, the other commanders of the armed forces and its fighters.

We commend the pivotal and historic role of these great leaders and their brothers in supporting the Palestinian cause and its resistance over the decades. Their steadfast stand will be recorded in letters of light at various junctures, the most recent of which was the battle of the Islamic nation: the Battle of the Al-Aqsa Flood.

Despite their awareness that this massive and open support for Palestine would exact a heavy price, paid in blood and sacrifice, they did not retreat until they were martyred at the hands of the Zionist enemy.

Time will reveal the true nature of these important contributions, which have served as a backbone in our struggle against the Zionist enemy, to the point that we are now closer to achieving final victory over this cancerous entity.

In the same way, we mourn the martyrs of the dear Iranian people, who have always supported and backed the resistance. We wish a speedy recovery to their wounded, and we declare our support for the Islamic Republic, its leadership and its people.

We also commend the heroic and great actions of the Iranian Armed Forces, which shook the foundations of the occupying Zionist entity, dispelled its illusions, and proved that its treacherous strikes did not break the will of the free people, but rather strengthened them and reinforced their determination to exact a heavy price from the Nazi occupation, curbing its aggression and rampant violence in a region that, unfortunately, remained unchecked for decades, emboldening it to continue its aggression.

Our afflicted Palestinian people, especially in Gaza, have followed these powerful strikes with the utmost pride and honor, and these strikes have been a source of healing for their hearts from this criminal occupier who has committed crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing against us, destroyed our stones and trees, and has risen to great heights.

We ask God Almighty to complete His victory for our nation, to utterly destroy the arrogance of the occupation, and to fulfill, at the hands of our Islamic Ummah, its resistance fighters, and its free people, the promise of the Hereafter and the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the eradication of this cancerous tumor that has been implanted in the body of our nation for decades. It is time for it to disappear once and for all. "And they say, 'When will it be?' Say, 'Perhaps it will be soon.'" Until victory or martyrdom.'
