'In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. With pride and honor, Hezbollah announces to the supporters of the resistance and our Lebanese people that the great jihadi leader, Haytham Al-Tabatabaei (Sayyed Abu Ali), has ascended as a martyr in the sacrifice for Lebanon and its people following a treacherous Israeli act of aggression on the Harat Hreik area in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
The great leader has joined his martyr brothers after a long wait to meet God Almighty, following a journey full of jihad, truthfulness, sincerity, steadfastness on the path of resistance, and diligent work confronting the Israeli enemy until the last moment of his blessed life.
He knew neither fatigue nor delay in the path of defending his land and people, dedicating his life to the resistance since its very inception. He was among the leaders who laid the fundamental cornerstone for this resistance to remain strong, honorable, and capable, preserving the homeland and achieving victories.
God has bestowed upon him the high rank of martyrdom, and his great martyrdom will bring hope, determination, and strength to his fellow mujahideen and insistence on continuing the path, as he was in life a source of strength and inspiration for them.
The mujahideen will carry his pure blood as they have carried the blood of all the other martyred leaders, and they will move forward with steadfastness and courage to overthrow all the projects of the Zionist enemy and its patron, the United States of America.
We extend our condolences and congratulations to our master and saviour, Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), to his fellow mujahideen and residtance fighters, to the steadfast and patient public, and to all the free people in the world on the martyrdom of this great jihadi leader and his martyr comrades who ascended alongside with him. We also address their honorable families, asking God to grant them patience and solace, and to the wounded a speedy recovery.'
