There is no report by Al-Mayadeen about Assad being a spy, at least not from what I can find. It's neither on their official website not their Telegram channel or Twitter.

Not that I don't believe it, it's very possible, but the source seems to be false and made up. If someone can find it please DM.

I just checked it, and it's real, but the person who claims it (Reza Al-Basha) said it in his own personal podcast, not on Al-Mayadeen channel.

Yesterday, the Nobel Institute canceled the press conference ahead of the award ceremony.

Her selection has been controversial due to her ties to the Israeli Likud party since at least 2018, advocating for American-Israeli military intervention against Venezuela, dedicating her prize to President Trump, and repeating American-Israeli talking points, such as Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas having a presence in Venezuela.

In late October, the Norwegian Peace Council canceled the annual torchlight procession in Oslo due to their disagreement with the selection of Machado.
