— Apparently, some images that I posted were from Karachi several years ago, not from Parachinar.
I must admit, I am not an expert on Pakistani affairs, so when some of my colleagues posted this, I assumed it was correct, as they are usually reliable.
It seems that the situation in Parachinar is more complicated than it initially seems. When I get something wrong, I own up to it and admit my mistake, as should be common practice in journalism.
The situation in Parachinar remains tragic and I ask everyone to research it with a clear and unbiased perspective.
