Is Refined Storage worse than AE2 in terms of performance and stability?
I heard that Refined Storage can get quite laggy and has a chance to corrupt your world
Is that all true?
And if it is, then for what version? (of Minecraft)

The Naked and Afraid Plugin is now on 1.8-1.21.8!
Hello everyone! I'm TheRealKushi, the dev behind the Naked and Afraid Plugin, and I'm happy to announce that with version 2.0.0 the plugin is now available and fully compatible with Minecraft versions 1.8-1.21.8 on server loaders Paper/Spigot/Folia and Purpur!
### Links:
Download on Modrinth: https://modrinth.com/plugin/naked-and-afraid-plugin
Download on CurseForge: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/bukkit-plugins/naked-and-afraid-plugin
Download on Spigot: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/naked-and-afraid-plugin.128063/
Github Repository: https://github.com/TheRealKushi/Naked-And-Afraid-Plugin
If you don't know what the plugin is about, here is a quick explanation of what it is:
The plugin aims to precisely recreate all features from the Minecraft Naked and Afraid series, allowing you to experience it on your own servers. Current features are:
- Damaging players when they wear armor, with lots of customization options in the plugin's config.
- Disabling players when they Join/Quit messages in the chat. Can be toggled in config.
- Hiding the Tablist and Player Nametags.
- Playing a universal sound everyone can hear when someone dies.
- Disabling the Totem of Undying's life-saving mechanic.
- A Spawn System, which can be used to set spawns for either online or offline players and teleport them to the spawn with just one command! (Read plugin denoscription for more info)
- A Teams System, with a definable Team Block, which when clicked with a lodestone compass will color the player's nametag to the team's color.
The plugin also includes:
- Debug messages which can be toggled in the config.
- Dependency handling to automatically disable some features if dependencies are missing.
- Outdated Version messages, which detect when a new version is available and warn OPs privately in the chat and server console.
And don't worry: the plugin will continue to be worked on! And also, if you find any issues, remember to report them in the Github Repository. I wish you all a great time using the Naked and Afraid Plugin!

World gen mod help!
Today I tried out lithosphere + still life, very beautiful but I have a couple of issues with it. Lithosphere just makes it too vast, and still life uses some (in my opinion) odd block choices in the terrain. I could also not find any ores on mountains, but maybe it was just unlucky?
The goal is a long term survival world with a more impressive world, where vanilla progression is left intact.
So what am I searching for? A mod that will generate terrain that will make you occasionally stop and take a screenshot. Large mountain ranges, winding rivers etc. I don't mind a bit of travel time, just not hours to get to the next biome... And a mod that can beef up the vanilla biomes. Larger trees, denser forests.
I've heard of Tectonic and WWOO. Would those two meet the mark?

Nycto - Minecraft Mod
Adds vampires (and later werewolves), and allows you turn into or hunt them
Why won't FTB put their mods on modrinth?
I was making a modpack, and a mod had FTB library as a dependency despite it not being on Modrinth, but you're not allowed to make a public modpack on anywhere other than Curseforge if you are using a FTB mod.
My question is why? what's the point? And is there an alternative mod to FTB library, like a port to Modrinth?

Looking for Create-centric, fully quest-guided pack recommendations
I have tried a number of packs (most recently Create: Ad Astrum, which was really good up until the shimmer thing, when i hit a wall due to its rarity, and the exponential cost increases of things didn't help either) but at a certain point i keep hitting a wall of slow grind or rare luck based progression gates.
Are there any minimally grindy/not luck gated create packs that have a fully guided quest book, little to no mob grinder requirementsor combat focus etc? bonus if there's lots of stuff to explore in the world (structures), especially if most aren't required but can speed up progression through looting. would prefer stuff without any programming/lua/computer stuff or huge multiblock gregtech / computercraft / mana based stuff, i do love the thermal series mods though so those and similar are fine.
thank you for any and all suggestions.
