World gen mod help!

Today I tried out lithosphere + still life, very beautiful but I have a couple of issues with it. Lithosphere just makes it too vast, and still life uses some (in my opinion) odd block choices in the terrain. I could also not find any ores on mountains, but maybe it was just unlucky?

The goal is a long term survival world with a more impressive world, where vanilla progression is left intact.

So what am I searching for? A mod that will generate terrain that will make you occasionally stop and take a screenshot. Large mountain ranges, winding rivers etc. I don't mind a bit of travel time, just not hours to get to the next biome... And a mod that can beef up the vanilla biomes. Larger trees, denser forests.

I've heard of Tectonic and WWOO. Would those two meet the mark?

Why won't FTB put their mods on modrinth?

I was making a modpack, and a mod had FTB library as a dependency despite it not being on Modrinth, but you're not allowed to make a public modpack on anywhere other than Curseforge if you are using a FTB mod.
My question is why? what's the point? And is there an alternative mod to FTB library, like a port to Modrinth?

Looking for Create-centric, fully quest-guided pack recommendations

I have tried a number of packs (most recently Create: Ad Astrum, which was really good up until the shimmer thing, when i hit a wall due to its rarity, and the exponential cost increases of things didn't help either) but at a certain point i keep hitting a wall of slow grind or rare luck based progression gates.

Are there any minimally grindy/not luck gated create packs that have a fully guided quest book, little to no mob grinder requirementsor combat focus etc? bonus if there's lots of stuff to explore in the world (structures), especially if most aren't required but can speed up progression through looting. would prefer stuff without any programming/lua/computer stuff or huge multiblock gregtech / computercraft / mana based stuff, i do love the thermal series mods though so those and similar are fine.

thank you for any and all suggestions.
