The Bedrockification expands. First Tinkers' Constructs, then Supplementaries, and now Biomes O' Plenty.

Modpacks that mostly skip resource gathering?

I've been playing the reclamation modpack and I've been I having a blast. Aside from the super satisfying progression and slowly bringing back the world to live, I've been loving that I don't have to stop what I'm doing once in a while and go for a mining trip. This is of course especially in the early game as you should be able to automate it later in any modpacks.

I'm coming to the end of this modpacks and I'm wondering does anyone know other modpacks that kind of skip this resource gathering phase like this or gives it new unique twists?

So I made a modpack inspired by Factorio… and it got a little out of hand

At first, I just threw a few mods together to have some fun testing Cosmic Horizons, and I really enjoyed the concept. Being able to travel through space freely, reach planets… and I remembered an old idea of a modpack I had in mind like 4 months ago, a Factorio-like modpack, where you bounce to planets to build factories, extract resources, and so on. With this as a base concept I began working. And now, nearly two months after and some versions posted on CurseForge (and a not finished pack yet) I want to have feedback- (On the Gameplay, Curseforge page denoscription, summary or anything...)

The pack is guided and balanced, with progression, custom multiblocks, and lots of ways to experiment with Create and other mods

You begin your adventure on Pluto, collect resources, assemble multiblocks, and craft your way to your first spaceship to go to Earth…
Actually, Pluto, Earth, and the Moon are playable. It could last around 20 hours of gameplay probably. This shows the base vision I had in mind-

Is there any reason to use Optifine anymore?

I mean sodium is just much better. And with introduction the mods like rubidium, embedding, Angelica, vintagium and more ports and backports, Optifine just seems completely useless now. And the zoom in feature can be replaced by other mods ig. And not to say occlus and iris exists, maybe optifine has an edge where it can use shaders in versions like 1.7.10 and 1.12.2 but im sure those will eventually get covered.
