against a depleted Chiefs team on Sunday to take a 26-9 win away from Nashville on Sunday. This is the first time in over 400 days that the Titans have won a home game. |
29. | [](/CLE) | Browns | +1 | 3-12 | So at this point you're only watching to see if Garrett breaks the sack record and that is ok. What is left, really? The Browns will face the Steelers next week who will be looking to rip the Browns heads off in hopes of a playoff shot so if the Browns could ruin that, that would be great. |
30. | [](/NYG) | Giants | -1 | 2-13 | Sunday's game against the Vikings felt like one of those classic, post-elimination wins the Giants would get, much to the chagrin of fans hoping for a higher draft position. Instead, Big Blue's offense came out looking like a JV squad, from miscues and mistimed throws to bad hands and bad playcalling. Joe Schoen will likely have his stocking full of coal after season's end, yet in the meantime the Giants still have to finish out their trainwreck of a season. Next up: fellow trainwreck Las Vegas Raiders, in a game that could be "so bad it's good" but will probably just be bad. Like, really bad. Folks, be sure to check on your Giants fan friends this holiday season and share some of your cheer with them. We all know they aren't getting any cheer from their team. |
31. | [](/NYJ) | Jets | -3 | 3-12 | The Jets have a pretty convincing case for worst team in the NFL, but they're not likely to get the first overall pick in the draft. It's a good bet that the Jets will use their significant draft capital to move up to that spot if a team is willing to trade down. Not much else for Jets fan to root for at this stage. |
32. | [](/LV) | Raiders | -- | 2-13 | NOW this is what I call an ethical tank! Fans get to see us stick with a solid team and we don't ruin our draft pick. See you in the Tank Bowl Giants! |

Seahawks GM John Schneider made 4 significant player acquisitions this year (QB Sam Darnold, WR Cooper Kupp, EDGE DeMarcus Lawrence via Free Agency and trading for WR/RS Rashid Shaheed at the Deadline) - 3 of those 4 have made the Pro Bowl (Darnold, Lawrence, and Shaheed.

Few NFL execs have had done as well over the course of the 2025 season as Schneider has.

Not only has every big fish signing (at least $10M APY) worked out for the team, but the draft class has been humming along as well.

After 8 years of mostly whiffing on Draft selections from 2013 to 2021, he's completely turned it around. He's been one of the big parts behind Seattle's return into a dominant competitor, despite playing a white hot division.

Dude absolutely deserves his flowers for his work lately, and that's true for this year especially.

[Pelissero] Here is the Lions fan code of conduct. The team found no violation and does not plan to action against the fan, who identified himself to the @freep.com as Ryan Kennedy. But the NFL is now following up with the team after hearing from DK Metcalf and others in his appeal hearing.

Chargers LT Joe Alt made the 2026 AFC Pro Bowl roster despite playing in only 6 games this year. Because of that, the cost of his 5th year option jumps from 19m to ~25m

I saw a clip of Nick Wright on X talking about how Pro Bowl voting needs to be overhauled because of examples like this. For first-round picks, the fifth-year option amount isn’t fixed just by draft slot anymore. Instead, it has four tiers:

Basic Tier: lowest salary, based mostly on positional averages.

Playtime Tier: higher than basic, based on playing time thresholds.

One Pro Bowl Tier: earns a salary equal to the transition tag at his position.

Multiple Pro Bowls Tier: earns a salary equal to the franchise tag at his position.

FWIW, alternate Pro Bowl selections do not count towards this. So Drake Maye for example, who was like the 8th backup Pro Bowler last year but a legit Pro Bowler this year, only has one pro Bowl counting towards his 5th year option raise.
