And the only way to KNOW is to go to a place and SEE, or speak with someone who has travelled throughout this event.
When you’re living in Canada, Aus, US, etc., it’s very easy to convince yourself that the propaganda MUST be bad everywhere. That safe space ideologies are taking root everywhere. That the new normal is a world wide thing. And that’s just not true. At least not to the same degree in each country. And each country’s people are responding in different ways.
And I tend to think that’s the MOST important part. The danger or hope in any country right now is nested within its citizens. It’s all about what the people will go along with, what they allow through complacency, what they enforce upon each other, (through socialization and business protocols), and what they create with their collective thoughts/actions.
