On Monday, a shadowy operative slipped a small package into my hand – a couple of innocuous pieces of toast concealing a tiny thumb drive. Curiosity piqued, I rushed to my secure terminal and accessed the drive's contents, revealing a single video file. The grainy footage flickered to life, bearing an all-too-familiar insignia – the mark of the long-dormant Ingress Report. Yet, something seemed amiss; subtle discrepancies hinted at an unsettling deception. Given the date, and some obvious differences from the original version, I had my doubts, so I’ve spent the last couple of days vetting it.

A deepfake? An elaborate hoax? Days of analysis yielded nothing definitive. The source? A ghost. The information? Tangible. Too real to ignore.

Weighing the potential consequences, I realized the world deserved to know, even if the source remained an enigma cloaked in shadows.
