Once the token sale was finalized and the tokens unlocked on 19 December, 2017, we were able to move to OpenST v0.9.1 on Ethereum mainnet. We are finalizing our documention on that and will fully publicize it on Thursday 21 December, 2017. Today we are releasing OpenST v0.9.1 which marks the move of OpenST from Ethereum testnet to mainnet, as well as several important steps towards mainstream businesses launching their branded token economies with Simple Token.
In this 0.9.1 release we implement the first cornerstone of the OpenST protocol: the ability to stake value on Ethereum mainnet and mint a new representation of that value on a utility chain, effectively increasing the computational capacity of Ethereum mainnet by sharding across different cores. OpenST smart contracts have also been restructured to store value separately from the logic that implements the protocol.

Since the completion of our ICO on 1 December, 2017, we have received hundreds of inbound requests from companies to partner with OST. In the coming weeks we will announce many new partnerships, ranging from early-stage startups, to established businesses with millions of users and billions of monthly transactions.
