The IDF claims he was serving in the LAF’s “intelligence Unit”, which would be the Military Intelligence Directorate (headquartered in Yarze) (emblem’s the 2nd image)
Both are completely different entities with no overlapping command structures and different personnel. A member of one regiment cannot simultaneously hold multiple roles in the military and is assigned to a specific unit, which in Ali’s case was the anti armored brigade
