بدین‌وسیله به اطلاع می‌رساند پژوهشکده فیزیک در نظر دارد کارگاهی دو روزه به صورت حضوری و با هدف ارتقاء مهارت‌های ضروری در دو حوزه تخصصی فیزیک نوترینوها و ساختار نوکلئون‌ها برگزار نماید.
این کارگاه با هدف توانمندسازی پژوهشگران حوزه پدیده‌شناسی طراحی شده است و از علاقه‌مندان دعوت می‌شود تا در این رویداد آموزشی ثبت‌نام کنند

🇦🇺 PhD Scholarships at the Research School of Astronomy & Astrophysics of the Australian National University 🇦🇺

The Research School of Astronomy & Astrophysics (RSAA) at the Australian National University (ANU) invites applications from outstanding undergraduate and master’s students of all nationalities for several fully funded PhD scholarships to commence in 2025. Candidates will be considered based on merit, with the primary criterion for selection being formal university education and training in Astronomy, Physics, Mathematics, or Astronomical Instrumentation. Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated track record of research experience in Astrophysics.

ANU is one of Australia's premier universities. Our astronomers have won the Nobel Prize, the Prime Minister's Science Prize, and Australian Research Council Laureate, Federation, and Future Fellowships. RSAA academics include members of the National Academies of Science in Australia, the USA, the UK, the Netherlands, and Spain. Our graduating students regularly achieve prestigious international fellowships including Fulbright, Zonta, Hubble, CfA, Carnegie, ESO, Magellan, CITA, Oort, and Jansky Fellowships.

PhD research projects are at the cutting-edge of Astrophysics, ranging from observations with state-of-the-art telescopes and instruments, as well as theoretical simulations and modelling using high performance computing. In addition to PhD projects in observational and theoretical/computational Astrophysics we also offer PhDs in instrumentation research.

The Australian National University is in Canberra, one of the few capital cities where beautiful nature reserves are integral to the urban planning. RSAA is based at Mount Stromlo within the Stromlo Forest Park, which includes world-class mountain-bike trails, and extensive equestrian and hiking trails.

Abstract

We revisit entanglement wedge reconstruction in AdS/CFT using the Petz recovery channel. In the case of a spherical region on the boundary, we show that the Petz map reproduces the AdS-Rindler HKLL reconstruction. Moreover, for a generic subregion of the boundary, we could obtain the same boundary representation of a local bulk field lies in the entanglement wedge as the one proposed earlier in JLMS paper using properties of the modular flow.

In this talk, I aim to draw attentions to the importance of research on different aspects of hadrons as nonperturbative objects made of quarks and gluons. In particular, introducing the interactions of hadrons with different currents (electromagnetic, weak, strong and graviton-like!) I will discuss how can we get knowledge on the structure of matter, investigate some effects in SM & BSM physics, search for dark matter & dark energy and make scenarios to address the matter-antimatter asymmetry!

The Institute for Astronomy (IfA) is located at the historic and beautiful Royal Observatory Edinburgh on Blackford Hill and makes up approximately one third of the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Edinburgh.
