In fidelity to their struggle and sacrifices, and in appreciation of their path in defending the blessed land of Palestine, at the heart of which are Jerusalem and the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) calls upon the masses of our Palestinian people and our Arab and Islamic nation throughout the world to perform the Funeral Prayer in Absence for the souls of the martyred leaders of the Al-Qassam Brigades:

• The Great Commander Muhammad al-Sinwar: Chief of Staff, succeeding the great martyr of the nation, Muhammad al-Deif.

• The Great Commander Muhammad Shabanah: Commander of the Rafah Brigade in the Al-Qassam Brigades.

• The Great Commander Hikam al-‘Issa: Commander of the Weapons and Combat Services Directorate.

• The Great Commander Raed Saad: Commander of the Military Manufacturing Directorate.

• The Great Commander Hudhayfa al-Khalout: Former Spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades.

This prayer is to be held after the upcoming Friday prayer on 2 January 2026, in all mosques in Palestine and in all mosques and Islamic centers around the world.”
