🤖 Google has released a minor update to Android 15 Beta 4.2.

Many were expecting the final release along with yesterday's event, but the Android 15 beta test continues, while new 9-series devices have come out with Android 14 on board. Presumably, a stable version of Android 15 will be released in September.

List of fixed issues in Beta 4.2:

• Fixed an issue where some devices were delayed in waking up.
• Fixed an issue where a gray transparent bar was appearing when using the camera.
• Fixed a camera issue that was causing low frame rates.
• Fixed a camera issue that was causing a crash when changing zoom values.
• Fixed an issue with camera saturation.
• Fixed an issue that was causing the UI to flicker.
• Fixed an issue that was causing the YouTube app to crash.

+ The "Device Diagnostics" feature, which was introduced in Beta 4, is missing from the settings.

🤖 The first beta of Android 15 QPR1 has been released.

Google is opening up the beta test for the first quarterly update for Android 15, which will be released in December this year. Everyone who participates in the Android 15 beta test will get the update, so if you no longer wish to be on the beta, you need to exit the beta test and wait for the update to stable Android 15, which is expected to be released in early September.
