Chromebook will be able to receive and make call from your phone
So if you do receive phone call frequently and you spend most of your time on your desktop, you had find it annoying to pick up your phone to do that. Chrome OS is soon getting a nifty feature that could solve your everyday life problems.
First discovered by Chrome Unboxed, there a Chromium Gerrit entry which could introduce a new flag called PhoneHubCallNotification. With that you can enable the "Ingoing/Outgoing call notification feature." If you dig into the commit further, you will notice that it won't be just a simple notification popup, but you'll be able to take and make phone calls right away on your Chromebook: “Enables the incoming/ongoing call feature in Phone Hub.”
There no mention of its being a Pixel exclusive, so it will probably be compatible with other Android devices. (Android Police)
