Google's upcoming foldable could be named as ‘Pixel Notepad'
9To5Google
For the past few months, we always called Google Pixel foldable as "Pixel Fold," as this is something Google will likely named it, but a new leak reported that it will have a different name instead.
A trusted source told 9To5Google that the brand name could be "Notepad," with "Logbook" in consideration earlier. Before the official announcement, anything can be subject to change so be aware about this point.
Besides that, the price is set to be lower than the Galaxy Z Fold 3 price of $1,799. The device will probably be limited to the US region first, then later expanding to other countries after a few months time, which is similar to the Pixel 4a device availability when first released.

Gmail updated the 'inbox zero' graphic which we hardly can see
Android Police
If your work consist of using email service, then you hardly can reach the "inbox zero" goal. If you have reached there recently, you might noticed that Google has updated the graphic in its mobile app.
I have actually noticed the changes at the start of 2022, so it been nearly two weeks till someone realised it's a new stuff. It probably had rolled out earlier, but anyway enjoy the new graphic if you managed to reach it.

Some Samsung users are facing a weird bug on Google Keep
9To5Google
There are many note applications out there, but some users still preferred Google Keeps as it sync across your Google account and it simple enough to use. Several users who are using a Samsung Galaxy device and have updated to Android 12 faced a weird issue.
Those users who are affected have already reported it over at Google's support forum. They reported that the app would duplicate additional copies of that number to each list item when adding new items to an auto-numbered list, or navigating the note. The issues seem to only affect Samsung devices that are on Android 12.
For now, users can prevent this bug from happening by editing it on the web. Google said they are investigating it and will be fixed soon.

Google celebrate Betty White's 100th birthday with warm tribute
9To5Google
A famous TV actress is about to pass her 100th birthday, but sadly she couldn't make it successfully there. Betty White passed away exactly at the last date of 2021, and it just 17 days away till her 100th birthday.
To celebrate this monumental day, Google decided to add an Easter Egg for those who search Betty White, regardless of which device. Sadly, it doesn't manage to go live on Doodle as something else has taken its place.

Chrome OS is preparing Self Share feature for Nearby Share
XDA Developers
Google's Nearby Share has been available since 2020 for every Android devices running version 6.0 and later, allowing users to share files wirelessly without needing Internet connection at all.
Spotted by Chrome Story, Google seems to be improving it by adding a new feature, Self Share. It's suggested that the feature will allow users to share files directly between signed-in devices without needing to search and connect the recipient device.
It will be nice to see such feature rolling out soon, as nowadays we usually just share files with our own devices anyway.

Digital Wellbeing gaining widget to show "Your screen time"

You will soon be able to check your phone usage via your home screen as Google is preparing a widget for Digital Wellbeing.
The widget is given the name "Your screen time." Screen time is shown on the top follows by top three apps of the day below. The widget size is quite flexible, you can set it to 2x1 to only show screen time, while expanding it larger will show the most used applications in a descending order.
In its current state, the widget has supported Dynamic Colors theming. For now, the widget is hidden inside version 1.0.416751293.beta of the app. Mishaal Rahman said the widget is functional, but from my testing, it seems like it won't work on older Android version, anyway take this as a grain of salt for now.
