Android 13 could bring in four new styles for Monet's dynamic theming system
Android Police

Android 12 introduced Dynamic Colors support, also known as Monet. It extract colors from your device wallpaper and apply the accent color across applications that support it. With that said, Google is planning to upgrade it over in Android 13.

There are four new color theming that is currently under development. These new styles are given a name and here's what it mean:
TONAL_SPOT: The current default colors Monet chooses.
VIBRANT: A palette similar to TONAL_SPOT, but with slight differences in supplementary accents.
EXPRESSIVE: A wider range of colors, seemingly including some not actually in the background, but which complement it well.
SPRITZ: a muted, desaturated, nearly monochromatic theme.

Although Android 12 already offered four colors option, that change the main hue. These new styles are set to give users more control over the colorfulness and customisations.

Google Pixel Fold design leaked, could have similar design to Oppo Find N
9To5Google

Several smartphone companies have already released their first foldable devices, and Google seems to be working on it too. We only roughly know its camera setup and some specs details, and that's pretty much it. Yesterday, Google has released Android 12L Beta 2 and they have included new animations which seems to be a Pixel foldable.

There is new animations which shows how to insert a SIM card into a foldable phone. 9To5Google also said that the animation reference to the Pixel Fold’s “Pipit” codename too.

The animation shows that it will have its volume button placed on the right, while the SIM card tray is located at the bottom of the external display. The device is measured to have a 7:8 ratio for its inner display, comparing to Oppo Find N, it has a 8.4:9 squarish aspect ratio.

Android 12L is currently still in beta stage, things can be subject to change, so take this info as a grain of salt.

Google's upcoming foldable could be named as ‘Pixel Notepad'
9To5Google

For the past few months, we always called Google Pixel foldable as "Pixel Fold," as this is something Google will likely named it, but a new leak reported that it will have a different name instead.

A trusted source told 9To5Google that the brand name could be "Notepad," with "Logbook" in consideration earlier. Before the official announcement, anything can be subject to change so be aware about this point.

Besides that, the price is set to be lower than the Galaxy Z Fold 3 price of $1,799. The device will probably be limited to the US region first, then later expanding to other countries after a few months time, which is similar to the Pixel 4a device availability when first released.

Gmail updated the 'inbox zero' graphic which we hardly can see
Android Police

If your work consist of using email service, then you hardly can reach the "inbox zero" goal. If you have reached there recently, you might noticed that Google has updated the graphic in its mobile app.

I have actually noticed the changes at the start of 2022, so it been nearly two weeks till someone realised it's a new stuff. It probably had rolled out earlier, but anyway enjoy the new graphic if you managed to reach it.

Some Samsung users are facing a weird bug on Google Keep
9To5Google

There are many note applications out there, but some users still preferred Google Keeps as it sync across your Google account and it simple enough to use. Several users who are using a Samsung Galaxy device and have updated to Android 12 faced a weird issue.

Those users who are affected have already reported it over at Google's support forum. They reported that the app would duplicate additional copies of that number to each list item when adding new items to an auto-numbered list, or navigating the note. The issues seem to only affect Samsung devices that are on Android 12.

For now, users can prevent this bug from happening by editing it on the web. Google said they are investigating it and will be fixed soon.
