Android now shows battery information in settings! You can now go to Settings > About phone > Battery information to see the manufacture date and cycle count of your device’s battery. Not every device will report this info, though.
Sadly, this page doesn’t show the battery stat that I think most of you are interested in: the state of health, ie. the remaining estimated full charge capacity relative to the rated capacity in %.

As I previously reported, Android is getting support for saving an app pair, and more progress has been made on this feature. In Android 14 QPR1 Beta 1, you can now actually save and launch an app pair. However, it doesn’t have an icon and can’t be renamed.

As I previously revealed to Patrons/X subscribers, Android 14 is preparing a "bubble bar" that'll stack multiple bubbles onto the bottom right of the taskbar.
You can see the bubble bar handle where you'll swipe up in the screenshot below, but it doesn't work right now.

Google Pixel 8a images have been leaked

Twitter user Abhishek Yadav has leaked images of the unreleased Pixel 8a in blue.
The device looks similar to the regular Pixel 7a, with it being more rounded compared to the predecessor. Its metal sides are matte with a pill-shaped camera cutout and shiny back glass.
Just like other A-series models, the display has thick bezels compared to flagship Pixels and other phones.
The device is likely running an AOSP build and has stickers marking it as a prototype with links to internal Google websites.

Google has started slowly releasing a new Dyanamic UI with material you style for its Weather app to bring a more consistent & modern look to the weather information on Android phones.
This modern look was previously ONLY available for Pixel Tablet & Pixel Fold.
Now some Pixel owners & Galaxy users have reported that they are also getting it
Its a server side roll-out so no ETA when you will get it
