Google Photos Locked Folder coming to Android 6+ devices
UPDATE: The feature has widely rolled out to non-Pixel devices.
Ah yes, I knew this will come when Google announced it in the June Pixel Feature Update. Google Photos Locked Folder will be rolling out widely to Android 6 and later devices.
What this feature do is that it will securely keep your photos and videos in the folder, and it will not be accessible anywhere, even in Google Photos. It will required a device screen lock or biometric in order to access it. It is located at the Library tab > Utilities > Locked Folder.
User won't be able to take screenshot when viewing the secure folder, and there is only two options available inside it, move or delete the media. Once the feature roll out, likely server side, Google Photos will pop a notification about it and you can start setting it up after pressing the notification. (9To5Google)
