Private Compute Services now available in Play Store listing
Play Store app link

So a few months ago, Google explained what Private Compute Services do, and it seem to start rolling out and auto download on eligible Pixel devices.

There are currently more than 500k+ Pixel devices have auto-downloaded it. Google may private the download count for the app later since they don't want to leak out how many Pixel devices are sold. This app will handle data of Live Caption, Now Playing & Smart Reply, which all these data won't be share out to anyone else and will stay on your device privately.

In the app screenshot listing, Google said it will update the feature at night or while your phone is charging to keep them smart. You will also be able to check when your phone connects to the network, later review it to keep your data private and secure, and also find out the reason.

Android 12’s Fabricated Overlay API makes rootless themes possible

UPDATE:
The loophole has been patched in Android 12L unfortunately.

So you may have know that Android 12,1 will introduce Dynamic Colors to AOSP, and the released Android 12 Dynamic Colors will be exclusive to Google Pixel, though other OEM implement their own theming system. Seems like there a loophole in Android 12 making it possible.

So there an addition to resource overlays called Fabricated Overlays, this is the API that manage the monet theming. You can change the color dynamically as shown in the video by kdrag0n, without root permission.

If you have Android 12 running and want to try the new API out, do check out Zachary Wander's Fabricate Overlays app on GitHub. Also it worth checking out Mishaal Rahman on Twitter as he showcase more stuff with the app and also explaining how the stuff works. For more info, learn more about it here. (XDA Developers)

Digital Car Key support to arrive with new Play Services update later
Google earlier promised to bring Digital Car Key support to Android 12, and we don't see it anywhere till now in the latest Android 12 beta builds. Things might get change as Google preparing with a Google Play Services update.

In v21.39.15 APK teardown, XDA found new strings related to the Digital Car Key feature. The feature will use your device's NFC to unlock your car. The code also reveals the feature will only be available to several devices and region. Once the feature starts to roll out, users will be able to install digital car key into the device via notification popup. A string also suggest that the digital car key will be stored in the Google Pay app.

Google Pixel that are getting Android 12 stable later this month will receive the feature most likely. More info could be show in the Pixel 6 launch event probably. (XDA Developers)

It will recommend you playlists based on your listening history. There is something similar in the Explore section, it is named "Community playlists". Select a mood and it will find you similar theme of music playlists for you.

Spotted by someone on Reddit, it is showing up for that guy on the mobile app. It might take a few weeks to roll out to everyone though. (9To5Google)
