By the way, to clear some confusion, if I type or make an announcement in Russian it doesn't mean I'm preferring it to Ukrainian. It's simply a lingua franca that both Russians and Ukrainians generally understand, while if I would've made it in Ukrainian, only Ukrainians and not many Russians would've understood it.

For those who still don't know, from today onwards I'll post a cut picture of a trench, that could be located anywhere (in the close Ukrainian or Russian rear or right at the contact line). You guys' job is to find the exact location of it. So, some sort of trench guessing game. Give this one a try!

Difficulty: Hard 📈

If you've noticed that I missed anything for my fortification map (trenches, ditches, teeth, barbed wire, positions), don't hesitate to ping/DM me the video/photo where they're visible. Unfortunately I don't have eyes all over the web, but if you help me, I'll be able to further refine and improve my trench map. Thanks!
The #Russians cleared out the #Ukrainian pocket in the westernmost houses of the settlement that found itself in operational encirclement and occupied their positions. Small #Russian advancement west of the town in a treeline.

Total area: 0.10 km²
Uspenivka. The Ukrainians retreated from the village under heavy FPV cover, only maintaining positions in some old farms northwest of it. At the moment, the Russians are still unable to enter the part of Uspenivka left by the Ukrainians, there are still many FPVs.

The Russians were able to enter the areas left by the Ukrainians on the western street of Uspenivka and are clearing them out. Attacks are also registered on Novooleksandrivka, results are so far unknown.

Slight Russian advancements in the forests between Nadiivka and Kotylarivka northwards.

The Russians cleared out the forested area north of Troitske and are advancing north of it along a treeline, capturing some small trench systems.

Total area: 0.28 km²
About the Russian group spotted and shelled in Pokrovs'k itself, it has likely been a discovered sabotage group or lost soldiers. It is a more common occurrence than many think, there, for the Russians. In short, very likely no consolidation.

Also, again about fortifications and trench systems.
The front nowadays is littered with 2022-2024 trenches. These were built not knowing that the war would become a drone-based war in just months or a year, and as such present little to no dugouts. These were fine for their time, but not anymore.
The truth is, no Ukrainian or Russian soldier is going to hold any type of defense in an open trench in crystal-clear view of enemy drones. The actual position is the dugout, while the trenches serve a secondary purpose relative to it (often they become communication trenches).
So, if you see massive trench systems on the map and wonder, "How did the Ukrainians lose that so quickly?", please remember that a massive system with no dugouts, nowadays, serves 0 purpose and will be literally abandoned. A simple treeline is going to be a much safer option for the soldiers. And a simple, decently equipped trench system in it is going to be even better. This was also one of the main reasons of the Russian defensive success when talking about the 2023 counter-offensive.
In the pictures are some examples of trench systems that might look great but are in practice useless.

Further examples of the new Ukrainian defensive strategy south of Kostyantynivka (48.478688, 37.673086). In the video you can see the small trench systems dug approx. 1 month ago right behind the anti-tank ditch. Now, they're being covered up by spring foliage, and will turn out to be almost completely unidentifiable in a month or two.

Addition to this post. From Muchnoy's words (Ukrainian soldier):

"I will simplify the information to the smallest detail: 2 Russian DRGs advanced from the Shevchenko area and were killed on the outskirts of Pokrovs'k, in the Lazurnyy microdistrict. This is a common tactic among the Russians, it has happened more than once, there are cases when they find blind spots and try to penetrate there to find out the situation in our defense. Therefore, now a lot of artillery, drones and aviation are being used in the city, as I already said-this is a warm-up before the offensive, but for now there is no reason to ring the bells!
In general, fierce battles are ongoing on all fronts, especially in the Kotlyne and Zvirove regions, the enemy is entering the villages in almost full force, dressed in thermal imaging uniforms. When they sit motionless in the bushes, they become invisible. Very lively little pigs, so we will be vigilant and destroy everyone if possible!"

This basically confirms word for word my view on the situation. It's common for Russia to use the infiltration tactic, using various methods to further conceal their already small groups walking in the bushes, as for example, thermal imaging uniforms.
Unless we see further visual confirmation of Russian presence in the area, I would advise not spreading information of any breakthroughs or big attacks.

I was able to clarify with my contacts. The group was able to cling onto their positions on Pokrovsk's outskirts, but *it is too early to talk about consolidation as of now*
I repeat, there are Russian soldiers there, but there is no consolidation. We will have to wait more.

I have received information about Russian accumulation in the red area (Kinburn Spit). Their objective is a serious landing operation somewhere in the Odessa Oblast' and the Ochakiv district. This is in accord with numerous reports of renewed Russian attacks on Tyahynka, Buhaz Island, and Kizomys. According to my contacts, the Ukrainians are currently closing some of the beaches in the area. I am not aware of any further information, but I'll wait and keep an eye on this. For now, don't panic around and spread doom posts, this is just my and my contacts' information.
