Title: Research Fellow in Integrated Circuit Design

Denoscription: The position is a part of the EPSRC-funded ENOM (Electrochemical Analyser Microchip with Monolithic integration of Nanoelectrode Array and Instrumentation) project. The project aims to create a core biomolecule analyser system based on semiconductor technology that is scalable, low-cost, long-lasting, and autonomous. The post holder will join the Biomarkers., Biosensors & Bioelectronics team led by Dr Sara Ghoreishizadeh and with overall responsibility of CMOS technology integration – including design and prototyping test devices, sensor interface circuits and systems, and co-ordinating/supporting the tape outs within the team. Denoscription: A PhD Position on microstructural modeling of geological materials is open at the University of Nice within a collaborative project with CEMEF at MINES ParisTech. The main goal of the project is to adapt and develop numerical methods for the study of the microstructural evolution of geological materials. The numerical strategy is based on the use of a full field framework based on the level‐set approach, which enables to simulate grain growth in a multiphase material. This numerical approach has already been applied to study microstructural evolutions in metallic materials.

A critical aspect of these measurements consists in the fact that these are almost always separate measures, which capture a partial image of the recovery, for example because they describe changes either at the level of the peripheral (EMG) or central nervous system (EEG, MEG). Denoscription: A PhD position, starting September 1 2020 or as soon as possible after that, is available in the area of electrolyte thermodynamics. The duration of the position is three years.
When ions appear in a solution, they may drastically alter the properties and can even induce phase splitting. The amounts of salts appearing in each system may depend on size, polarity, and especially on the degree of ion pairing in the case of non-aqueous solvents. Such phenomena are not currently well understood and no thermodynamic models accurately predict this behaviour.

یک فاندی هست که اتحادیه اروپا میده. معمولا یکی از اساتید به همراه همکارانش در سرتاسر اروپا در زمینه ی مشترک همکاری میکنند، یک پروپوزال ارائه میدهند و اعلام میکنند که مثلا میخواهند در طی ۳ و یا ۴ سال اینده تعدادی دانشجو تربیت کنند (معمولا ۱۰ یا ۱۵) برای رسیدن به فلان هدف کلی تو زمینه تحقیقاشون.
داخل پرانتز بگم که ممکنه یک استاد پروپوزال رو به تنهایی هم بنویسد و برای پست داک فاند ماری کوری رو ببرد و فقط یک پست داک بگیرد، اما برای phd معمولا گروهی هست و دانشجوهای phd در قالب این برنامه رو
Early stage researcher (ESR)
مینامند.
در وبسایت مخصوصی که قبل پذیرش معمولا برای اون پروژه ساخته میشه ۱۵ esr تبلیغ میشود و این دانشجوها گرفته میشوند در کشور های مختلف اروپایی. فرقش با پوزیشن ساده اینه که شما ۲ یا ۳ ماه از هر سال رو مهمان یک یا دوتا از گروه های دیگه تو این برنامه‌ میشوید. که معمولا تو کشورهای دیگه هست.

شرایط اپلای:
یکی از هدف های بورس ماری کوری اینترنشنالیزیشن هست. پس شرط اول اینه که در ۳ سال اخیر، بیشتر از ۱۲ ماه در کشور مقصد زندگی نکرده باشید(چه کار و چه تحصیل)
اولین بار هست که پوزیشن phd خواهید برد و در اوایل کار ریسرچ هستین (برای اینکه ESR به حساب بیاین)

پوزیشن ها در سایت های معتبر و روی وبسایت خود اساتید و دانشگاه ها هم‌ ممکنه تبلیغ بشود. زمان خاصی نداره و بستگی داره که استاد کی این فاند رو برده. ۲ تا ۳ مرحله مصاحبه داره از شرت لیست ۵ نفر تا دو نفر. مرحله اخر اگه امکانش باشه، مصاحبه حضوری خواهد بود.

مزایا نسبت به پوزیشن معمولی:
۱- برندینگ: در اروپا به پوزیشن ماری کوری

میگن و با شنیدن اسمش چشم همه از کاسه درمیاد. پس به خودی خود اسمش یک برند روی شماست که تا ابد باقیست.
۲- مزایای مالی بالا: بیشترین فاند phd در اروپا ماری کوری هست که بصورت زیر هست: (حدودا)
* ۳۰۰۰ یورو ماهانه (این مبلغ ضربدر ضریب ccc کشور میزبان میشه. مثلا برای سوئیس این عدد ۱.۲ هست)
* ۵۰۰+ یورو برای ماه هایی که تو کشورای دیگه مهمون هستید در قالب برنامه.
* +۵۰۰ یورو برای افراد متاهل

۳- امکان همکاری با چند گروه همزمان: و به اشتراک گذاشتن نتایج در جلسات سالانه و ۶ ماهه. تو این جلسات با ۱۵ esr دیگه اشنا میشید که میتوانند گزینه های مناسبی برای همکاری اینده باشن.

عیب:
بیشتر کسایی که این‌پوزیشن رو میبرن مینالن از اینکه تا میان کارشون رو به جایی برسونن باید بارشونو ببندن و سفر کنن به یه کشور دیگه طبق دستور ماری کوری. این سفرها رشته ی افکار و نتیجه رسوندن کار رو خیلی سخت میکنه. ضمن اینکه در کشور مقصد معمولا خونه برای ۲-۳ ماه سخت پیدا میشه و قرارداد ها حداقل برای ۶ ماه هست. مجبور میشن تو هتل ها و هاستل ها بمونن گاهی اوقات.

در کل در صورت پذیرش از ماری کوری باید رو هوا زدش مگر اینکه شرایط خاص دیگه ای تو کشور مقصد اقناع نشه از قبیل بحث اقامت و ....
