LOCKDOWN IN AMERICA POSSIBLY COMING SOON

The Trump administration, moving quickly to halt the spread of the coronavirus, is seriously considering grounding all passenger air traffic for up to 30 days, temporarily halt stock trading on Wall Street, and imposing a “shelter in place” rule, according to officials.

What’s more, so that stocks don’t tank further, the administration under the plan being discussed would stop trading on Wall Street when it grounds the U.S. passenger fleet. The Bush administration made similar moves after the 9/11 attacks.

Sources also said that the administration is seriously considering a “shelter in place” rule to keep the public from large gatherings. 


The three radical moves could come as soon as next week, depending on how much the coronavirus spreads. There are some internal government models that show that the numbers of people infected in the coming two months could reach over 5 million.

JavaScript sometimes enabled in the Safest security level of Tor Browser

Tor is aware of a technical issue that allows JavaScript execution in the Safest security level of Tor Browser in some situations. Information about which versions are effected were not immediately clear.

Until then, do the following to completely disable JavaScript instead of setting the security level:

1. Open the address about:config in Tor Browser.

2. Click the I accept the risk! button.

3. At the top of the page, search for javanoscript.enabled.

4. Double-click on the javanoscript.enabled line in the results to set its value to false.

Sometimes when you download a file from the internet it will be signed. This signing makes it possible to verify the sender/creator of a file. Our guides are a good example of this.

Who would have thought that realizing the urgent need for basic opsec within our community would have created such a stir? Yet here we find ourselves.

This may be more relevant than ever these days.

I would consider encrypting a message so that only your most trusted friend or family member can open it, with either their PGP key or a very strong password given to them ahead of time (in person). The message would list passwords you'd want them to have access to, any secrets or information you'd want leaked anonymously, etc.

You never know if today is your last day. Why not give yourself the opportunity to strike back from the other side?

You never know when you might get yourself vanned or randomly attacked in a chimp out.

While China reportedly recovers from COVID-19 (the first wave, anyway), they are about to face another crisis.

They don't have to concentrate on buying bulk food at home," says Wang Bin, deputy director of the Department of Consumer Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce.

This limited supply of food is due to the significant economic and agricultural barriers since the start of the year. With movement limited (if not prohibited altogether) to the tens of millions of workers under lockdown, it should be of surprise to no-one that there won't be a surplus of food to be harvested this year.

One estimate puts the shortfall of fertilizer production alone at 40%. That's a real shame for anyone looking to hold their government leaders responsible for the damage they've caused with their lies and inaction. 👀
