Expecting to have our own permanent safe space under this regime is foolish. They censor our dissenting channels, and we create more in their place. It's a quick "fix," but eventually the music will stop and we will have to leave Telegram for good.

OPSEC is a great practice for all of us to have, but it is not a solution in and of itself. Privacy and security is there to help keep you safer, but letting paranoia scare you into inaction is fatal in the long run.

Treat your assigned fiat currency like a ticking hand grenade. Other than some cash set aside for emergencies and immediate expenses, put all of your excess cash into commodities and hard assets. Precious metals (silver, gold, brass, lead), food, heirloom seeds, water, water storage/treatment, vices, etc. You might do well investing in cryptocurrency (although we believe everything but Monero is a glorified surveillance coin), but it is extremely volatile and you may end up worse off than when you started. Like our temporary presence on Telegram, when our oppressors can manipulate anything they want without consequence, everything is a gamble. If you're NEET, learn a skillset or practice a hobby that will give you some sort of value. Something like gardening may seem easy enough, but it will probably take you 3 years or so before you're proficient. Don't wait until it's too late to start practicing.

Working towards self-sufficiency is a great goal... but that's not the end objective. You might want to live a quiet life on a homestead. That life is impossible while our eternal enemies remain in control. Prepare for hard times, and when it arrives, embrace it.

Following her advice, I've bought:

I leave 1 smartphone & burner phone at another address.

My contacts list is synced using Nextcloud. That way both smartphones will sync contacts when they are switched on; no need to write anything down.

I've used KeePass password manager for years. I have it installed on both smartphones and my laptop to make sure I always have access to my accounts. The database file is again synced using Nextcloud. If I loose one or two devices, all I have to do is switch on another and I will have access to all my passwords.

For 2FA I use andOTP; you can use the same secret code on both smartphones.

I use the burner phones when I need to give a number but don't want to use mine.

I've had zero issues and even though it's running on a relatively old phone, it's the fastest thing I've used.
