China and India are two major military powers in Asia, but there’s a clear gap in size, technology, and capability between them largely favoring China.

5. YJ-21 Hypersonic Anti-Ship Missile: Targets large naval vessels, including aircraft carriers, with extreme speed and accuracy.

In short

While India maintains a strong and capable military, especially in terms of experience and regional alliances, China’s larger budget, superior technology, and faster modernization give it a distinct upper hand across most military domains.

ISRO’s 101st Satellite EOS-09 Launch Mission Fails Due to Technical Glitch

New Delhi, May 18, 2025: India’s space agency isro launched its 101st satellite, EOS-09, today morning from Sriharikota aboard the PSLV-C61 rocket, but the mission failed just six minutes after liftoff due to a technical malfunction.
