The Cradle's sources say the new Russian positions are being decided directly with Damascus, bypassing Turkiye
A high-level Russian delegation visited Syria's Quneitra Governorate on 17 November, The Cradle has learned from private sources, indicating Moscow's intention to reinforce its military presence in the sensitive region adjacent to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
The Russian delegation included officers from field commands operating in Syria, accompanied by a committee from the Syrian Ministry of Defense. The delegation conducted an extensive tour of several military sites from which Russian forces had previously withdrawn.
Contrary to some leaks suggesting trilateral coordination or a Turkish role in restructuring the military presence in the south, the delegation did not include any Turkish officers.
According to the sources speaking with The Cradle, the absence of the Turkish side reflects a Russian desire to manage the southern file exclusively through channels between Damascus and Moscow...
Moscow reduced its presence in Quneitra after HTS, led by Syria's current self-appointed President Ahmad al-Sharaa, toppled the government of former president Bashar al-Assad in December of last year...
According to information obtained by The Cradle, the Russian command has decided to redeploy its forces to nine military positions in southern Syria, mainly in the Quneitra and Deraa countryside...
This development follows a series of reciprocal Russian–Syrian moves, the most recent being the arrival of a large delegation from the Russian Ministry of Defense in Damascus a few days ago.
This was in addition to the telephone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which followed the visit of President Sharaa to Moscow. It is estimated that southern Syria was a key topic in these communications.
According to The Cradle sources, practical steps for redeployment in southern Syria are expected to begin in the coming weeks, with Moscow gradually announcing the reopening of some of its military posts before the end of the year.

Alawite religious councils in Syria and Lebanon have issued an urgent call for large, peaceful protests on Tuesday after a surge of violent attacks on Alawite neighborhoods in Homs. Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal, head of the Alawite Islamic Council in Syria and the diaspora, urged citizens to take to the streets to condemn the assaults and demand protection for civilians, as the councils appealed to the UN and international bodies for immediate intervention.

Israel Police raided a theater in East Jerusalem on Sunday night and dispersed a children's performance under an order from National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
Ben-Gvir invoked the law implementing the Oslo Accords in his order, with authorities claiming the event was linked to the Palestinian Authority and lacked the required permit.
According to organizers, the dispersed event at the El-Hakawati Theater was "Dreams Under the Olive Tree," a musical show featuring children and teenagers.
The Palestinian Culture Ministry sharply condemned the raid. "This assault constitutes a blatant violation of all international laws and conventions that guarantee the protection of cultural institutions, including the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of Cultural Heritage," the ministry said in a statement published Monday by the Wafa news agency.
...Police issued a statement following the Sunday raid, saying it is "acting in accordance with the law." El-Hakawati Theatre could not be reached for comment.
El-Hakawati Theater ("The Storyteller"), also known as the Palestinian National Theater, began operating in East Jerusalem in the 1970s. It is an independent institution that receives no funding from either the Palestinian Authority or the Israeli government.
..In 2015, the theater faced severe financial difficulties and nearly closed due to debts of roughly 600,000 shekels ($184,000), mostly to its insurance provider.
Although it later raised the necessary funds, it has recently encountered new financial challenges. According to its director, Amer Khalil, who spoke to the French newspaper L'Humanité earlier this month, none of the theater's employees have received salaries in the past six months.

I think its more like Jolani / Sharaa realized he got himself into a pickle and the people whose country he is running / took over do not want to allow Israel to colonize / seize southern Syria.
So Jolani is hedging his bets a bit from the Israeli / NATO axis and is keeping russia in syria as well, IMPORTANTLY NOW southern syria, and i believe it is to serve as a deterance to Israeli aggression. If sharaa / jolani allows israel to continue controlling southern syria and annex it, he knows that could spark an internal revolt and collapse of his regiem, and so hes trying to avoid syria being carved out by israel by placing russian troops and bases in southern syria as a deterrent

But despite that i believe Sharaa is position russian bases as a deterence to israel. The alliance between sharaa and israel isnt as solid as it appears to be i believe. Yes sharaa / jolani is an israeli proxy. Israel wanted HTS / Jolani to overthrow Assad. But Jolani is probably aware of how assets like him are disposable to Israel (and US). And theres certainly lots of distrust. Not just between Jolani / HTS and Israel, but more importsntly, Jolani / HTS and the Syrian people.
If Jolani allows Israel to blatantly steal and annex more Syrian land i think he thinks faces encouraging mass Syrian revolt against his regime / government, and he is doing what he thinks is most likely to keep him in power
