In 1996, Gary exposed how the CIA hired drug traffikers, to sell massive amounts of cocaine in the United States, in order to raise untraceable funds to finance a terrorist organization who were trying to overthrow the Nicaraguan government. These massive shipments of cocaine ultimately sparked the crack epidemic that decimated inner cities during the 90s. As a result mainstream media vilified Gary Webb & destroyed his career which also destroyed his marriage. But he refused to back down. In 2004 he was found dead with 2 bullet wounds to his head. His death was ruled a suicide.

Kiev cut down the original 28-point peace plan to 20 points that Zelensky says are 'more favorable to Ukraine'
US officials are pressuring Ukrainian negotiators to accept significant territorial concessions described as “central” to any peace agreement with Russia, according to a report published on 10 December by the Financial Times (FT).
Ukraine delivered its detailed response to the latest US peace plan on Wednesday, Axios reported, as Kiev faced growing pressure from the US to move quickly on negotiations.
According to officials cited by Axios, the response was sent by Rustem Umerov, Ukraine's national security advisor and chief negotiator, to US President Donald Trump's son-in-law and former advisor Jared Kushner.
A Ukrainian official said the text introduced changes “to make the whole thing doable,” including new ideas on unresolved issues such as territory and the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
The submission followed several days of consultations with France, Germany, and the UK.

❗️Storm Byron leaves at least 12 dead or missing as humanitarian disaster deepens in Gaza
The Gaza Government Media Office warned that Storm Byron has begun unfolding with devastating consequences, confirming earlier alerts as extreme weather battered the Strip between Wednesday and Friday, killing or leaving missing at least 12 people, collapsing 13 homes, and destroying or flooding more than 27,000 displacement tents.
Torrential rain, flooding, violent winds, and storm surges have placed over 1.5 million displaced Palestinians at direct risk, with more than a quarter of a million people suffering immediate harm as fragile tents and makeshift shelters failed. The office said the unfolding climate catastrophe is inseparable from Israel’s ongoing siege and war, citing the continued closure of crossings, the blocking of aid and shelter materials, and the prevention of at least 300,000 tents and mobile homes from entering Gaza.
It urged the UN, international organizations, mediators, donors, and the US administration to act immediately to force the opening of crossings, deliver emergency shelter and rescue supplies, and provide urgent protection to displaced families as the storm and further weather systems threaten additional loss of life.

Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos told Al-Monitor that Nicosia is considering joining the proposed international stabilization force for Gaza but cannot commit without clear rules of engagement, a defined mandate, and clarity on which states will participate.
Kombos said Cyprus is open to contributing to various layers of the mission, including training a vetted Palestinian police force, but emphasized that “not enough clarity” exists as implementation of Trump’s UN-backed ceasefire plan stalls over sequencing issues, Hamas’s disarmament, and Israel’s partial withdrawal.
He highlighted Cyprus’ “unique position” as an EU state near Gaza and noted that more than 30,000 tons of aid have already moved through Cyprus’ Amalthea maritime corridor, which could support reconstruction if expanded. Still, he warned that aid delivery remains insufficient as Gaza faces “dire” shortages after two years of war.

The Israeli army carried out heavy attacks on southern and eastern Lebanon on 12 December, claiming in a statement that it struck Hezbollah military infrastructure and a “training camp.”
In south Lebanon, airstrikes hit Al-Jarmaq, Jbaa, Al-Rihan, the area between Ansar and Al-Zrayriya, Tebnine, and the area between Wadi Houmein and Roumine.

Report: Trump To Appoint US General To Lead Gaza ‘International Stabilization Force’
It's unclear if the international force will materialize, as countries are hesitant to participate
President Trump is planning to appoint a two-star US general to lead the international force that may be deployed to Gaza under the US ceasefire deal, Axios reported on Thursday , a step that would mark a significant escalation of US involvement in the Palestinian territory, which has been destroyed by Israel.
Trump’s plan calls for the establishment of what’s being called an “International Stabilization Force,” and the idea is for the ISF to replace IDF troops who are currently occupying more than 50% of Gaza and continuing to kill Palestinians. Playing into those fears, US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz said on Wednesday , while visiting Israel, that the ISF will be tasked with disarming Hamas. “The stabilization force in the Security Council resolution is authorized to [disarm Hamas]. We specifically put language in there that said, ‘by all means necessary.’ That’ll be a conversation with each country,” Waltz told Israel’s Channel 12.
“[Conversations on the] rules of engagement [for the ISF] are ongoing… President Trump has repeatedly said, Hamas will disarm one way or another — the easy way or the hard way,” he added.
The Axios report said that during his trip to Israel, Waltz informed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the US would be in charge of the ISF and would appoint a general to lead it. “Waltz even said he knows the general personally and stressed he is a very serious guy,” an Israeli official told the outlet.

President Trump is planning to appoint a two-star US general to lead the international force that may be deployed to Gaza under the US ceasefire deal, Axios reported on Thursday , a step that would mark a significant escalation of US involvement in the Palestinian territory, which has been destroyed by Israel.
Trump’s plan calls for the establishment of what’s being called an “International Stabilization Force,” and the idea is for the ISF to replace IDF troops who are currently occupying more than 50% of Gaza and continuing to kill Palestinians. But it’s unclear if the force will materialize as countries initially willing to participate are hesitant over concerns that their troops could end up fighting Hamas on behalf of Israel.

Saudi Arabia and the UAE are pushing back against US President Donald Trump's plan to construct roughly half a dozen residential regions on the eastern half of Gaza, which is currently under Israeli control, The Times of Israel reported on 2 November.
Citing two Arab diplomats familiar with the matter, The Times of Israel said that Trump and his real estate developer son-in-law, Jared Kushner, have proposed the plan to donors in the Gulf to build the “new Gaza” on the eastern side of the strip only, which is now under direct Israeli control.

❗️Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has vowed to erase the grave of anti-colonial leader Ezz al-Din al-Qassam, whose burial site lies under Israeli control and whose legacy inspired the name of Hamas’s military wing.
Ben Gvir posted a video on X alongside Israeli security forces as they tore down a prayer tent built near the grave of the resistance figure.
Qassam, who was killed in 1935 during a firefight with the British, was a prominent leader who fought British rule and Zionist militias in Mandate Palestine before Israel’s establishment in 1948. His grave has become a symbolic target in Israel’s ongoing campaign against Palestinian historical memory.
