Resistance fighters targeted the colonial Tayaseer checkpoint, east of #Tubas, with a hail of bullets.
Nine Palestinian prisoners continue their hunger-strike in the occupation prisons with seven prisoners on strike in protest of their administrative detention without charge or trial.
They are:
- Kayed Al-Fasfous and Sultan Khallouf (18 days)
- Osama Daqrouq (14 days)
- Mohammed Zakarneh, Anas Kamil, Abdelrahman Baraqa, and Zuhdi Talal Abido (11 days)
The occupation courts renewed the decision of administrative detention for the hunger-striking prisoner Sultan Khallouf from the town of Burqin, Jenin, for an additional 4 months. He is a former prisoner who spent years in the occupation prisons and had previously engaged in a hunger strike in 2019, which lasted for 67 days at that time.
In addition, prisoner Islam Shamsa continues his strike for the seventh day, in protest of his arbitrary transfer to the “Ramon” prison. Prisoner Hatem Qawasmeh continues his strike for the seventh day as well, to demand meeting his brother prisoner Hazem Qawasmeh.
Two administrative detainees suspended their 11-day hunger today, after successfully meeting their demands and receiving promises to set a limit to their administrative detention. They are:
Hadi Nazzal and Mohammed Akhmis.
Administrative detainees, primarily in “Ofer” prison, continue their struggle against the ongoing crime of administrative detention imposed upon them.
The Prisoner’s Club stated in a statement today, that since the detainees began their hunger strike, the occupation Prison Administration has initiated its oppressive measures against them. The most prominent of these measures is the policy of solitary confinement, which is considered one of the most dangerous policies implemented against prisoners and detainees. Additionally, there have been attempts to obstruct visits by lawyers, and prison guards have exerted pressure on them through psychological methods to discourage them from continuing their struggle.
The Prisoner’s Club added that the continuation of the struggle against the crime of administrative detention through various means, such as acts of disobedience, rejection, disrupting the daily prison system, hunger strikes, and boycotting the occupation courts, which dozens of administrative detainees are currently implementing, is part of the long-standing struggles undertaken by prisoners. The importance of these steps lies primarily in their continuity and the ongoing ability to confront this crime.

The brave resistance in the West Bank strikes again with full force and defiance in the north, center, and today in the south.
This operation comes naturally in the face of the religious war against our sanctities and against the zionist settlement projects in Al-Quds and the West Bank.
The young fighters in the West Bank are capable of overcoming the entire zionist security apparatus despite the state of alert.
This resistance act will continue and evolve until the occupation is defeated, and its settlers are expelled from our land.
Our people and their resistance will continue to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque, its Islamic and Palestinian Arab identity, and will not allow the occupation to implement its plans in Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa.

The heroic Al-Khalil operation confirms the spirit of will and determination of the resistance.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine praised the heroic operation carried out by one of our people's heroes in the "Kiryat Arba’” settlement in the occupied city of Al-Khalil, which resulted in the death of a settler and the serious injury of another.
The Front confirmed that this operation is an extension of the escalation of resistance acts, and proved the ability of the resistance in the West Bank to penetrate the complex zionist security measures despite its continuous persecution.
The Popular Front concluded that this operation sent strong messages to the leaders of the occupation that they will not be able to kill the spirit of will and determination of our people to continue the option of resistance until the departure of the last zionist usurper from our land, and they should expect more of these heroic operations in the coming days.
