🔴 Today, a member of the General Central Committee of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Iyad Awadallah, saluted all the resistance fighters of all factions and our people in the occupied West Bank in a radio interview.

He stressed that the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza are one people, and resistance is a comprehensive national decision. He stated that "the continuation of the occupation's violations and practices targeting of Palestinians in the West Bank, in addition to our people's rejection of all forms of liquidation projects that recognize this entity--all of this prompted our people to take the decision to resist and create open clashes and armed struggle."

He ended by warning, "If the occupation attacks the Gaza Strip, it will receive painful blows that it has not received before from all of the resistance factions, and the zionist government will receive its share of blows."
A large fire has broken out in an apartment during a birthday party celebration in the Tel AlZaatar neighborhood of Jabalia refugee camp in northern #Gaza, trapping residents.

At least four Palestinians have died in the fire, and a number of others were injured. A mother and her seven children are still trapped in the apartment. The fire is not yet under control, and reports suggest that it was caused by a gas leak.
Update: At least 21 people have died as a result of the fire, including seven children and Eng. Maher Abu Raya, Director of the Office of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor.
Eyewitnesses in Jabalia: "By God, none of us could reach the building due to the intensity and horror of the fire. The view of the engineer, his wife, and the screams of the children... None of us could do anything. It was a cruel scene in every sense of the world.

Young children burned. A man, his wife, and friends were celebrating a birthday. Everyone was being burned and couldn't escape. We cried with all our hearts, and most in the building became corpses. May God have mercy on them."
The teacher Rose Al-Kahlout, her four children, and her husband are among those who died in the Jabalia fire in #Gaza today.
The head of the Hamas movement in Gaza, Commander Yahya Al-Sinwar, arrives at the scene of the fire in Jabalia now, along with a number of the movement's leaders.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourns, with sorrow and pain, the victims of the tragic fire that took place this evening, Thursday, in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of dozens and injured many.

The Front offers its deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and calls on our people to take part in mass participation for the funeral of the victims of the fire.

The Front calls on our people to take the utmost care and caution when dealing with various means of heating, especially as we are on the verge of winter, and also when dealing with any flammable materials in order to preserve their lives.

⚠️ Palestine will enter a day of mourning tomorrow, with all flags flown at half mast, in honor of the (at least) 21 lives lost in the tragic Jabalia refugee camp fire today.
The Palestinian resistance factions in a press statement:
---
The Palestinian resistance factions mourn with deepest feelings of sadness and pain the martyrs of the heartbreaking fire that occurred in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip which led to many deaths and injuries.

As we extend our deepest condolences to the family of the martyrs, we call for the declaration of public mourning tomorrow, Friday, for the souls of the martyrs. We ask Allah Almighty to bless the martyrs with the abundance of His mercy, to speed up the recovery of the wounded, and to inspire their families and to increase their families patience and solace.
🚨 The IOF officially declares the death of Sergeant Dante Roberts, following an alleged “car accident” between an occupation military vehicle and a bus in the Naqab, southern Palestine, which we reported yesterday.

Remember the words of the Lions’ Den after confirming IOF injuries: "...we leave the occupation, as usual, to claim casualties as being dead from road accidents or climbing in the Ecuadorian mountains." Or the Balata Brigade following a successful ambush, "Note: Do not forget to distribute your injuries to the Himalayan mountains and to 'traffic accidents.'"

Recall that the resistance confirmed injuries at Joseph's Tomb yesterday, but the IOF hilariously admitted to none. This inevitable announcement is not surprising.

A statement issued by the Abu Raya family, of which 21 members died in a fire that broke out in their home in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip:

The Abu Raya family considers its sons martyrs and appreciates our people's stand in the face of this tragedy.

O sons of our Palestinian people:
This evening, Thursday 11/17/2022, we received the news of the catastrophe that claimed twenty-one of our children and the children of our relatives with great sadness and grief.

We count our sons among the martyrs, since they passed the judgment of God Almighty and His destiny, and we do not object to God's judgment, and we ask God to write for us patience and compensation and write for the martyrs mercy and forgiveness.

O sons of our Palestinian people:
We highly appreciate the great state of sympathy expressed by our honorable Palestinian people from the first moment of the tragedy, as our people tried to help extinguish the fire that broke out in the house, and the civil defense crews worked very hard to extinguish the fire despite the weak capabilities.

We call on all our people to refrain from any cheap attempt to exploit the lives of our children and our great affliction or to consider it as material for bidding.

We appeal to the whole world, especially the Arab countries, the Arab Gulf states and the Islamic countries, we appeal to them to stand with us in this great calamity, to lift the criminal blockade on the Gaza Strip that has been unjustly imposed on our people for 16 continuous years, and to work urgently to introduce all tools and capabilities to the civil defense teams and to all Service devices in Gaza to ensure that this painful incident will not be repeated, which was repeated in similar cases, such as families who perished and died completely as a result of being burned by candles, and who were also looking for lighting and electricity in light of the power outage.

May God have mercy on the martyrs.
And may God protect our Palestinian people.

Gaza.

All kinds of death and grief are swallowed up; Like every country and more, then the drums of war beat to stand tall, so we see it, we see its blood flowing instead of ours. We see its missiles that give the homeland back to us.

The war ends; we stop looking. Hospitals are not enough to treat those whose homes were destroyed by enemy missiles; we do not look.

The largest prison in the world remains, all of it besieged;
we do not look.
Its children come out through the checkpoints, they are arrested; we do not remember their names.
We do not look.
Children die waiting for a paper that allows them to be treated;
we do not look.
A young man returns home after graduating far from his family, a fire breaks out, more than twenty die;
we do not look.

Gaza experiences all forms of death.
It bleeds every day;
we do not look.

Mercy for those who saw death in the Gaza wars, in the streets of Gaza, and in the distance from loved ones under the siege of Gaza, and then saw death in their home when he experienced joy in his home for just one day.

Mercy be upon you, and healing for your afflictions, and condolences, all condolences, to the always proud,

Gaza.
