The execution of Prisoner Arafat Hamdan from Ramallah, an Extension of the Brutal War against Our People and Prisoners

With all the signs of steadfastness and determination to fight, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine mourns its martyr, the heroic fighter Arafat Yasser Hamdan (25 years old) from the town of Beit Sira in Ramallah, who was martyred as a result of a deliberate execution in the occupation's prisons, two days after his arrest.

As we mourn the martyr, Arafat Hamdan we hold the zionist enemy fully responsible for the heinous crime of murder and execution, which came one day after the execution of the leading prisoner Omar Daraghmeh from Tubas. It represents an extension of the brutal zionist war against our people in Gaza, the West Bank, and inside the occupation's prisons.

This crime represents a stain of shame in the record of the oppressive world. It puts the human conscience at a crossroads with only two options: either to align with its humanity and rectify the imbalance that has affected the scale of ethics, or to follow the interests of Western leaders, whose hypocrisy, lies, and the extent of their immoral positions —that have nothing to do with justice, truth, and morals —have been proven. These positions of Western leaders have become a cover for shedding blood, murder, and bloody terrorism.

We affirm our people's right to resistance and defending themselves and their land. We call on the masses of our people in all arenas to activate all means of confrontation and escalate resistance acts against the occupation soldiers and settler gangs, in revenge for the blood of the martyrs and supporting our resistance, which remains on the covenant to defend our cause and liberate our prisoners from the prisons, no matter the magnitude of sacrifices, “and victory is only from Allah.”
