🚨 A fierce battle has erupted in Jenin, as an occupation force has apparently invaded the city. Resistance responded immediately and the battle is ongoing.

The first scenes of the battle: It appears that a colonial “special force” is invading the town of Jaba’ south of #Jenin.

IOF reinforcements are going towards Jaba’ as another force invades the city of #Jenin itself.

Preliminary reports indicate that an IOF soldier has been wounded.

Palestinian Press sources: "Resistance fighters uncovered a [zionist] special force and opened fire on it in the Beit Yaroub area in Jaba', south of #Jenin. The occupation army then sent military reinforcements to the area and its surroundings."

Occupation forces appear to be withdrawing from Jaba’ now.

Sheikh AlQassam represented the dawn of the Palestinian revolution. He was born in 1882 in Jableh, Syria, where he resisted against French colonialism until he was sentenced to death in 1903. To escape, he took asylum in Haifa, occupied Palestine, where he sparked the revolution and resisted against both British and burgeoning zionist colonization of Palestine.

AlQassam would say, "The armed revolution is the only path to end the British Mandate and prevent the establishment of a zionist state in Palestine," as he organized resistance, surveillance, and weapons training groups to fight against incoming colonization.

This legendary martyr is honored today by the armed wing of Hamas which bears his name, the Izz ElDin AlQassam Brigades, who heeded his call, "The jewels and decorations in mosques must be turned into weapons. If you lose your land, how will those decorations on the walls benefit you?"

In 1935 in his final battle, the British surrounded Sheikh AlQassam and his fighters. An Arab working under the British colonial forces called out, demanding that they surrender. At this moment, AlQassam said, "We do not surrender. This is jihad for the sake of God and the homeland." He turned to his comrades and said, "Die as martyrs." He was martyred, and his martyrdom marked the beginning of the Palestinian revolution. Glory to our eternal martyr.

The explosion of a car rocks Ya'bad in #Jenin, the town of Sheikh Izz ElDin AlQassam's martyrdom 87 years ago today. The explosion occured near the colonial Dotan checkpoint. Details are emerging.

We note with caution the recent and apparently quick withdrawals of the IOF from Jenin and Nablus. Though these can be seen as clear resistance victories, there is a possibility that IOF has been planting traps and surveillance during these incursions.

🚨 Civil Defense forces have arrived to extinguish the fire. It is unclear whether the car was empty or had people inside it.

Confirmed: the car is empty and there are no reported injuries. The source and intention behind the explosion are still unclear, but may be an exploded gas cylinder.
