A day before her martyrdom, Sila wrote in her notebook that she didn't eat breakfast and about the news. She wrote about a play she made starring herself, her siblings, and her cousins—Waed, Jenan, Hala, Leen, Husam.
All of the children in the play were martyred under the rubble in the airstrike, and its final chapter was never written.
