"Nothing is more difficult than the pain of loss. And when these wounds open one after the other, it becomes more difficult each time, but what can I say? Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
"This is our destiny and we must accept it no matter what. Our hope is that God is satisfied with us and that He writes us among the patient ones. This is the destiny and choice of everyone on this land, as you see in droves. People bid farewell to their loved ones, the apples of their eyes, every day, at every hour, at every moment.
"We ask Allah to grant us patience and strength so we can continue. To Hamza and all the martyrs we say: we remain on the covenant. This is a path we have deliberately chosen. We gave it a lot and watered it with blood because this is our destiny. We are marching forward. This is the big challenge.
"It is true that one feels sadness and pain and aches a lot; as we said, there is no greater pain than loss, so what if the loss is the eldest son and the apple of one's eye? Not a part of me, Hamza was all of me, the soul of the soul, and everything. But, when we get sad, even the Prophet, peace be upon him, cried and was sad.
