Our brave heroes were martyred by the bullets of the cowardly occupation forces in coordination with the traitorous comprador, the so-called Palestinian Authority, who handed intel on their location after an earlier failed assassination attempt of the martyr Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi that same day in the early hours of February 8th, 2022. Over 90 bullets were fired at their car that day, in an unforgettable scene of zionist brutality and cowardice.
It was later revealed that they were founding members of the Lions’ Den and were instrumental during its infancy. Sons of the Old City of Nablus, they grew up in the footsteps of the martyrs, carrying out operation after operation and defending every invasion of the camp. They were a nightmare for the enemy.
Their martyrdom set fire to the land underneath the feet of the zionist occupiers across all of Palestine. A nation and a people rose in honor of its martyrs; thousands committed their lives to our righteous cause by picking up the rifle and pointing it towards the enemy, and did so following in the footsteps of those before them, to victory or martyrdom.
In the words of the martyr Basil Al-Araj, "Either we resist or we wait for annihilation."
A martyr rises, and, in their honor, a thousand others stand ready to continue marching on the path they paved.

The life of a resistance fighter is not an easy one; these men decided to resist, decided to leave their family homes, and decided to accept martyrdom as their fate. The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club confirmed the martyrdom of administrative detainee Mohammed Ahmed Rateb Al-Sabbar (21 years old) from the town of Dhahiriya/Al-Khalil, due to a systematic medical crime that led to his death today after being transferred from "Ofer" Prison to "Hadassah" Hospital, according to available data. He had been administratively detained since May 2022, with the latest administrative detention order issued against him in November 2023 for four months. He was the youngest son in a family of seven, with three sisters and an older brother, noting that this was his first arrest.
The Commission and the Club explained that the occupation committed two crimes against the martyr Al-Sabbar. Firstly, by continuing his arbitrary administrative detention under the pretext of a (secret file), and by committing a medical crime against him and depriving him of treatment. Al-Sabbar, before his arrest in 2022, suffered from a congenital stomach and intestinal problem, for which he regularly received treatment, medication, and special food. After his administrative detention about two years ago, the prison administration committed a medical crime by depriving him of treatment, which was exacerbated after October 7 by depriving him of the minimum level of treatment.
The Commission and the Club highlighted that the number of sick prisoners in the prisons has doubled after October 7, due to the intensified deprivation of treatment aiming to kill them, alongside crimes of torture, abuse, and starvation policies that have unprecedentedly exacerbated the suffering of prisoners in prisons, directly affecting the fate of sick prisoners. Moreover, the severe cold, overcrowding, lack of sufficient clothing, heating means, or even blankets for them have caused the majority of prisoners today in prisons to suffer from diseases and health problems due to dangerous conditions and systematic retaliatory measures imposed by the prison administration on prisoners after October 7.
The Commission and the Club held the "israeli" prison administration fully responsible for the martyrdom of detainee Al-Sabbar and the fate of all prisoners and detainees, considering the crime committed against detainee Al-Sabbar as part of the comprehensive aggression and genocide in Gaza, within the framework of systematic killing operations executed by the occupation by decision against Palestinian prisoners in its prisons, under a government that had sought to enact a death penalty law against prisoners.
With the martyrdom of detainee Al-Sabbar, the number of detainees who have ascended after October 7 rises to eight martyrs, in addition to a group of detainees from Gaza whose martyrdom was revealed by the occupation media in the "Sdei Teiman" camp, without disclosing their identities, besides the occupation's admission of executing one of the detainees.
